Bangladesh are dead set horrific. They've gone nowhere in the last 10 years as far as tests are concerned. I think if I rocked up at Dhaka, told Jamie Siddons that I had a Bangladeshi grandmother I'd be in the team as captain and opening the batting and bowling.

Pakistan seem to have started to get some of the toxins out of their side that was destroying them.

I get the feeling that of all cricket playing nations, Pakistan should be the best. So much talent just rises out of nowhere every year for Pakistan, it's a shame about all their problems because the cricket talent that comes out of there deserves better.

Assuming both Watson and Marsh are fit for Boxing day two of our current top 6 shouldn't be there. Neither of which is named Phil.

Noone can convince me that Khawaja should be picked ahead of him. And neither should be dropped before Ponting.

But the selectors will take the soft option. Ponting will be first picked. Hughes, Khawaja and Marsh will have a shootout for the last spot in the tour match.
