This is beyond farcical.

I'm seriously starting to wonder if the AFL really has its panties in a twist this hard about cricket pitches, if it isn't worth moving all limited overs cricket in Melbourne to Etihad and just growing the one pitch in the ground in Melbourne for the test match, and returning the ground to the AFL for preparation on the 31st. At least that way we get a good pitch.

Any BBL overflow could be taken down the road to Geelong, or moved to the new 30k AFL stadium Eddy Everywhere is trying to get built.
