No, you've wrongly assumed that advocating for Lyon to be dropped is saying that SOK is better, instead of understanding that it means I believe Lyon hasn't been good enough and the man with the best first class record in Australia over the past decade deserves a proper chance. Everyone else got it, what does that say about you?

Anyway you're clearly never going to understand this very simple concept so believe what you want.

Go Ironman, great delivery. He'll rip though them here
And you don't seem to understand that he DID have a chance. Three different times. Head to head he did not outplay the bloke you say isn't good enough. He's good enough to give Australia a chance to win a game that was destined for a draw. The reality is, Lyon is good enough to play test cricket and contribute, and he's proved it. He's just not as good as most people want or expect. So they hang shit on him constantly, pretty much from the day he was picked, 220-odd wickets ago.

I love haze. A fine bowler getting better every game. But he's better leaving the tough guy stuff to someone else.

No one is going to be intimated by a guy who looks like a movie usher.

It's very New Zealand like.

Moeen is a bit part player, which is a no-no in Tests.

I'd like to see us play Stokes + 4 pace bowlers and no Ali.

Mediocre spinners coming to Australia universally get thrashed. Even the good ones do sometimes so I wouldn't complain if we just used Root to roll his arm over and that's it for spin.

It really didn't help that Moeen spent his entire career batting #3 averaging about 45 for Worcester who regularly play a five-prong medium-pace attack and being the sixth bowler.

Suddenly he's batting #8 for England and a front line international spinner?

What were they expecting?
