innings over - not that complicated-- but beside the point, terrific innings from Warner

Then that must apply to any illness or injury. It's patently ridiculous. Not that complicated

Ffs the cramping is caused by playing the game, no eating dinner. That’s the point @Incorrect and I are mainly making

I’ve had cramp too, I understand what it’s like

Well then the fundamental basis for your argument is wrong anyway.

It is 37 degrees, he's batted for six hours or something in full gear...the cramp is caused by heat and dehydration, obviously.

Because he’s been batting, you don’t seem to understand what ‘fundamental basis’ means here

Oh I do. You seem to assume that the only reason for the cramp is standard gameplay so I'm not sure I'll be taking lessons tho

And in that case, would it not be WHS conscious or prudent to just not let them go out and play in the first place if batting in full gear is going to adversely affect them? Do you just tell the batsman "It's pretty hot today fella, too hot for pads and shit for more than 2 hours so you're going to have to retire hurt for your own good after 2 and a bit hours"....

I'm not having a go at anyone mind, but I'm pretty sure I'm closer to an untimely death sitting the A/C in my lounge room watching today than Davey is out in the middle at the MCG.....

Well the idea is you retire hurt to get fully assessed...

Warner is a fit dude for sure and the point about heat stroke being potentially fatal was largely comparing it to the runs for eg, but when your core temp gets over 38 or 39 it's a lottery. Can literally be two hours and goodnight.
