Yep, but blah blah's knowledge of the game isn't exactly extensive

Umpires had a word but are happy - I wasn't suggesting an issue, just noting that Australia had managed to get significant reverse, we got very little - fielding and hitting 6's remain our only advantages

Yeah it's one of those things that's technically not against the rules, but frowned upon if you make it too obvious.....that said, do NZ have any bowlers who are noted reverse swinger's anyway? It may be that they want to keep the ball fresher because they get more out of it

They all do - but yeah, Boult and Southee primarily conventional - Wagner gets reverse - but seldom pitches it in the batsman's half

Deliberate plan by Straya to try and get Corey to play accross the line to the on side.

Showing restraint is the big fulla.

NZ need to up the tempo, only 15 overs till Haze and Patto get a new seam in their hand.

The keeper drops one now. We are f*cking imploding this morning.

Didn't quite carry. Maybe he could've lunged forward.

I don't think Smith has full confidence in Darsh and Bird.
He is pushing Hazelwood and Patto to the nth.

Williamson gets some luck. He needs some at the moment. A notable innings with one or two reprieves can be enough to snap a player out of a form slump

I'm not convinced the ball did hit the bat. You couldn't see that part of the bat in the first frame, that little glow on the bottom of the bat came from Williamson's shoe.
But whatever, some go your way, some don't. Just have to get him out cheap after lunch.

Jeez Illingworth is a poor umpire. It was the right decision, but to do that so quickly was pretty ordinary.

Ian Smith is wanking on about having to accept the umpires decision whether you agree or disagree but is still pissing and moaning about what happened in Adelaide 3 months ago. Ridiculous logic from the fat mess.

Lol. And the ball deviated after it hit the bat on the front on. That is why the 3rd ump went back to hot spot and saw the hot spot at the same place.

Well they're great players n all, but the match ref needs to talk to Smith sternly and fine Hazelwood. Cannot swear at an umpire like that.
