I think he has been a bit fortunate hitting the ball in the air through covers

Hughes looks pretty solid though, he normally looks like he can get out at any time but looks like he has worked hard on changing his technique

I did believe him, even from watching him,conceding a few often helped him get the batters out to shots they shouldn't be playing.

He didn't only say it about himself, he has said it in commentary too, that you don't mind conceding some of those for a greater purpose.
