With it being such a low scoring match all it needs is one big partnership to make a game of this. Root still has the calendar year record to aim for. We all remember Stokes winning an Ashes test basically on his own not too long ago. The 4 down is not as bad as it looks considering one of them is Leach.

If they can get 200 runs combined out of Root, Stokes, Buttler and Bairstow, all of a sudden it's game on.

England would need a minimum of 200 from here on - 150 to win would not be easy on this pitch as you say- Not sure CA would be happy if the game was over in less than 3 days though
