3rd Test: Australia v India @ Gabba Brisbane Dec 14-18, 2024

To be fair there have been 4 partnerships in the match over 50, with only one exceeding 100. A total of 274 is probably a lot larger than it seems on the surface. There might be enough of a carrot dangled there for India to go after.

Honestly the structure of the Fox commentary team is unbearable (often with overseas commentators outnumbering local ones, and local ones who want that sweet sweet BCCI contract...)

Way too pro-India. Australia is ahead by 229.

We are clearly trying to force a result, even if I think the tactics are stupid.

India chasing 250 on this pitch would be a herculean effort, even against 2 bowlers.
BBL takes priority send all the Aussies to commentate on that rubbish

Even Ricky Ponting got dragged off the Gabba to do BBL like seriously.

It won't be up to them. Players will be dropped.

If we lose the next test then it means Australia have lost the Border-Gasakar trophy at home 3 series in a row. That is completely unacceptable. When was the last time that has happened in Australian cricket? The 80s?

Heads will roll.
I hope so, just have a feeling if you're one of the boys you run the team

While we're ranting about Commentators - I am incredibly happy that Gerard Wheatley no longer commentates for the ABC.

Bloke was a Victorian flog of the highest order.
Even the name Gerard Wheatley sounds like Melbourne snobbish elitism. That bloke had no idea but Drew Morphett with constant AFL wanking was peak annoyance.
