They rolled us in Hobart, sure. That pitch was greener than your local bowls club as well, not an excuse but it's not like they were playing on a road and we got out because of our inability to leave or defend, I said before that this South African bowling attack is the best we've seen on our shores for some time, we've had quality bowlers play against us in recent years but not to the point where there's not really any sort of a reprieve, Abbott and Philander come off and you've got Rabada, Morne Morkel can't even get a game and he's been a very good bowler in his own right for a long time. They deserve a lot of credit.
I hate that our team only reacts after losing games in regards to player changes, Handscomb looked a million times better than anyone else in our middle has last night yet he never even got a look in, the series is over we're playing for pride, what are they playing for? So they can say they 3-0'd us on our own shores, whilst I am sure that would be humiliating for us, it's not like we're playing against England.
I'll re-iterate what I said, seems you're still struggling with the concept as you labelled it a "broad" statement. Rotate the strike, relieve yourself of the pressure, don't give the opposition an opportunity to bowl ball after ball at you. I don't except you to tell me i'm right, in fact I know you won't but at the same time
the fact you said if Khawaja didn't try to pickup the scoring rate once the pitch flattened out I "may have" had a point? may have? I am telling you right now, this is an exclusive so don't go around spreading the word that if Khawaja didn't try and improve the scoring this entire forum would be ripping and tearing, let's keep that on the down low though, Khawaja's innings is full of merit, we've been dieing out for a 3rd batsmen to start delivering and I say 3rd because whilst Warner does get out alot for not many runs, he has also scored us alot of runs at the top of the order, just look back to the first test, we were in a commanding position until he got out on 90 something, then Smith got a dodgy LBW decision against him and the rest is history.
