Wonderful bowling from Boult and Southee. We're having a bat again by the looks of it.

I would have much rather we enforced the follow on, but however.

They'd be taking the foot off the throat by doing that. Cause if they build up a big lead then the Poms could just try and play for a draw. I'd enforce the follow on and try and move in for the kill. Makes me think they try to give the bowling attack a rest.

If they can scrap their way to 150 tomorrow, they'll be sweet.

Hope Michael Vaughan is enjoying his day.

Anderson is an immense f**ktard BTW.

Only good thing he's ever done was telling Shitchell to STFU after he bowled Harris.

Don't know why you'd not enforce the follow on. If you don't do it there, I don't know when you'd do it. Bowlers tails are up, English confidence down, still 240 odd behind. Even if England bat well and get 350, its still only 110 to win. Weird captaincy I feel.

It's an interesting one. Perhaps he figured the pitch is only going to get worse and we don't want to be batting on it on day 5, even if it a small chase. Also the English bowlers have done a lot of bowling in this test and stretching back into the Wellington test so making them bowl now doesn't give them as much of a rest.

Fulton started pretty positively this morning... be interesting to see what the plan is... England will bat better second time, but looking more and more to me like a lot hinges on Cook, Trott and Prior... Compton's performances notwithstanding

Years ago I thought Fulton had a big future, but he was found wanting... I still have doubts about him, but I am really pleased he's done/doing well this series...

Playing really well this morning

Fulton on fire, how is this for a test comeback series.

The thing I am really impressed with is the selectors sticking to their guns in all three tests, very un New Zealand like. Showing some faith really paid off and I hope the trend continues.
