Yup, and everyone but rabid Victorians can see he should be in the Test team

Are you still pushing the drop Siddle barrow even though he was our best bowler in the first innings in melbourne and the sydney test?

Like I said, I'd drop him for Stuart Clark. Do you deny Clark is the better bowler?

Ponting takes the powerplay...personally, I wouldn't
Yeah his first class average of 30 is hard to ignore, then if you take away Bellerive which isnt a test venue really it balloons out to 38, just demanding selection

But then again his awesome season last year where only White and Krezja had worse averages is hard for the selectors to ignore him any longer

Of course once Clark and Lee are fit I dont see how he will even get anywhere near the squad but oh well

Of course not.

But you also just said you'd have hilfenhaus in the test side, and only rabid victorians wouldnt.

Who would you play Hilfenhaus ahead of?

Peter Siddle has earnt his test spot. Whether he should have gotten it ahead of Hilfenhaus now is a moot point, because he has performed and earnt the right to keep it for the time being.

Clark in for Siddle, Hilfenhaus or Bollinger replacing the still unfit Lee. Or would you rather three quicks who can't swing it in two series where swing bowling is often the biggest destroyer?

Also, Hopes gets a wicket...

I would definatley have Hilfy over Siddle in England, if you can't play a swing bowler in England you will never play one.

He was a bit too slack, with 3 down now SA is gonna try to consolidate and slow down a little.

Ooops sorry it`s only 2 down. They can keep going then.
