Defence is not inherently negative.

It's 5/420.

What does Junior want FFS? You've gotta defend eventually. Give Pant a sniff and it'll be 5/500 in forty minutes.
Who cares the game and series is over anyway, may as well go down swinging.

His tactics have been rubbish since we got the 5th wicket.

Don't agree. You do everything you can to hang on in the match regardless, even if that means defending.

Personally? I'd like be a bit more aggressive, because that's my nature. But what I'm saying is there are acceptable and reasonable tactical reasons for the decisions Paine has made.

Pant come out and he had 5 out on the boundary to the new batsman, just hoping he would make a mistake. He’s played smart and he’s still there on 45.

And in almost every previous innings, Pant went hard and got out.

Thus, a reasonable and perfectly acceptable rationale for that decision.

The fact that you or I might do it differently doesn't make us right, or Paine wrong. That's the beauty of cricket, mate. There are so many means to an end.

Lol@Slats thinking our dogshit batsmen will learn from Pujara's innings

I saw an article last night that apparently Marcus LesbianLasagna said he learned a lot from watch Pujara bat and hoped he might be able to replicate it.

Wow an Indian makes centuries on roads......if it was Smith or Warner they'd say he was a flat track bully.

He didn’t in Melbourne.

Well played Pant, helped by Negative cricket.

Easy single for Jajeda as well.
