So Labba gets picked for his spin bowling.
I feel cheated.
I got both my daughters and my brother's 12 year old son out on Xmas Day with my left arm straight breaks.
f**king boys club.

I feel like Australia should have thrown a different bowler in the mix. Cummins has been great but Haze and Starc have bowled long flat spells which Pujara and Kohli see off all day long.

This was the time to give a wildcard a crack, Pattinson maybe.

Labuschagne at 3 after Mud Marsh at 4 recently.

Just when you think the selectors can't outdo themselves.

They should be lined up and shot for treason.

MMarsh has set the bar as low as it can be set for Labu. If he manages one wicket and gets into double figure he's already ahead of Marsh,

It's probably more relevant than the anthems, to be fair
I have nothing against it; except that these things tend to have more effect when used sparingly. If you do it all the time people will just tune out.

Just like national anthems.

The Yanks probably sing theirs before brekky so it's such a yawnfest when you hear it.

Anyway, how's this?

Our current Test match number 3, if Matthias LabCoatWearer does bat there, is the proud owner of 39th spot on the 2018/19 Sheffield Shield averages.

His average is lower than Brendon Doggett, Chadd Sayers, Jhye Richardson, Shaun Abbott, Trent Copeland and even Fawad Ahmed.

As a bowler, allegedly a huge part of the reason he was picked, his legspin ranks below Lyon, Swepson, Chris Green, Ahmed, Pope, Holland, O'Keefe, and reasonably equal to Sangha, Webster, Qadir, and Matt Short.

If that's not enough to sack the selection panel I don't know what is.

It's pretty pathetic - the selection makes no sense.
