You've been playing hard to get for months so you better not divorce me this early.

Besides, you've been added to the invite list for my "if I ever win the lotto I'm having a corporate box at the SCG Test for the LU cricket forum tragics" so you wouldn't wanna miss out on that.

I'd have you seated at the back in a cordoned off Raiders and Eels sub section so all you miserable lesbians can sit together.

When we were shite in the 80s at least AB would score some tons.

Is this the first home series ever with no Aussie tons?
We even had some tons when we had the third Australian XI playing the Ashes in the Packer years in 78 and they got done 5-1.

We also beat India 3-2 without the Chappells, Rod Marsh, Lillee, Walters, Wessels, Hookes, Edwards, McCosker basically the whole test team from the Centenary Test.

I was contemplating last week how much worse our results have been and declining rapidly in direct contradiction to how much money they now make... You've got amputee impersonators like Travis Head and Mitchell Marsh on retainers with CA worth about 1.5 million banana's a year while bloke's like AB 30 years ago were probably being paid in beer coupons and a couple of hundred dollars a month having to front up to Garner, Marshall, Holding and Walsh on proper turf decks... Disgusting how well rewarded some this current crop are....
Most of us would be sacked if we were as bad at our job as these merkins are.

I got nothing against Labuschagne. But his selection was like picking a blunt knife to cut a tough piece of steak. The potential is there, but needs sharpening. He's done better than expected with the bat, not really good enough though.

Although at this point if we're picking a team on form, it's a very short list. Go Paddy give 'em hell.

Second half of the shield season should be one of the most crucial ever. Will or selectors even know it's on?

If anyone in charge in CA had so much as half a brain in their head Smith and Warner would be playing all 5 remain shield games. That's all I ask.
