I'd only keep Harris and Uzi as absolute locks for the top six. Harris has shown that dreaded "P" word (potential) and is young. Uzi has had a bad series but has great talent and some credit points in the bank.

Deano waited 30mins before he got back in the dressing room and there was AB still waiting for him and gave it to him deluxe. Called him selfish and if he ever played a shot like that again he’d be out on his arse.

AB was the best. I was never a McDermottt fan so I loved this. Imagine AB as captain or Bob Simpson as coach bringing out the Elite Honesty sign during a slump!

Lab needs a minimum of a test half century before he's even close to a lock.
I hooe he reaches his potential and has test career with 50+ batting average, but he's not ready yet and test cricket shouldn't be a learn on the job thing

Just on Border.

48 times he batted with Australia either responding to 400, trailing by 150 on first innings, or following on...more than four times as often as Ian Chappell.

He'd had seven captains in his first seven years.

Was one of two establishment players as automatic selections to rejoin WSC players...a feat in itself.

Scored 27 test tons and was on the winning side 5 of those times. Bradman lost thrice in his 29 tons.

Was leading test scorer when he retired despite being in so many losing teams.

Bradman's average century 234. Border's 223.

Border made 27 tours abroad. Bradman made four...Ashes tours.

45% of Border's first class runs were test runs.

Good post, just shows how good AB was. Best Australian batter of all time imo.
