In THIS series in THIS country against THIS opposition, he has at least matched Lyon and in some ways outperformed him.

Would be my line up for the next test. Strengthens our batting and there are still enough bowlers to get the token 8 or 9 wickets we will get on the road that India dish up for the 4th test.

Lyon is a much better prospect than Doherty. Wickets > Runs from a spinner.
Henriques is a better prospect than Hughes so I'd keep him and add Khawaja to the team so we can see if he would've made much of a difference.

Stamp Hughes 'Never to play test cricket for Australia again' and put him on the first plane home. The sooner this happens, the sooner we'll start fixing our top order problems.

I think Khawaja and Johnson will play for the simple reason they are the only ones without a test gig over there (plus the official line is that they have been going great in the nets)

Starc is out, assuming Clarke is out as well (may as well preserve his back for the ashes now it being a dead rubber)

If that is the side, then the openers and Siddle would be the only players to play all 4 tests. I dont think any side in the history of international test cricket have been able to win a series with only 3 players playing in every game of the series.
