Something tells me that shower of rain just before lunch has really freshened up the wicket. Keeping in mind that England are 3 down in their 2nd Innings.

If we lose, Im sure Punter is gonna announce how it hurts, and they will work hard and start preparing to win back the ashes, starting by beating Pakistan and the WI :sarcasm:

What an absolute disgrace. Well done to England but Australia have ruined alot of hard work in the last 3 tests in an hour.

What sort of spastics lose ten wickets in pretty much a sesssion. Yeah the ball was moving but come on. This is definetly Husseys last series as this will be the third series in a row of averaging no more than 20. This team is average. There is no world class players, Clarke is a very good test batsman and Haddin, Katich and Ponting (who is on a huge slide) are good test cricketers but the rest are average at best.

Geez I'm glad the selectors made the tough call and dropped Hughes after two bad tests whilst keeping a player who has been in poor form for nearly a year

We have to keep them under 300 to have any chance, we can't bat any worse in the 2nd dig can we?????

You can never rule Australia out. But 230 is almost enough IMO, and it will only take an excellent game-changing qucikfire 50 form a Prior, Flintoff or Broad to potentially put the nail in Australias coffin on what is a very tough wicket that is wearing all the time.

Can Australia whip England out to chase under 300? It will be exciting, thats for sure. Thats what is so great about result wickets.

lol at Australia way to p*ss away the Ashes in a session. England already have a match winning lead, this game could be all over inside 3 days.

Pretty dire that the series has come down to whoever won the toss in the 5th test...

This Test was over the moment our final wicket dropped in our first innings. I said earlier that if we had to chase any more than 150 in our final innings, England would have the advantage. Anything 300 + is basically impossible on this pitch.

Geez we could of used Hauritz this Test, although i suppose the majority here will be happy we progressed with our 4 pronged pace attack. Pity the selectors bowed to public pressure even when they knew what the right decision was. Selectors do however deserve sh*t for

A) Dropping Hughes (which i agreed with at the time) but not bringing him back at any stage
B) Hussey, no explanation really needed.
C) Not dropping Mitch at sometime during this tour. This hurts cause i like Mitch alot, and still think he will be an awesome bowler if he can get everything together, but imo he cost us too much for those first 3 tests and imo hasn't made up for it in these final 2.

Terrible tactics this morning, Mo and Marto have summed it up perfectly. Negative tactic's when you are chasing early wickets, not bowling enough at the stumps on a dodgy wicket. It's time for an overhaul of Australian cricket, New selectors,Coach and Captain would be a good start.
