Did you watch much last night??? The pitch is doing nothing much at all, besides a few turning out of the rough. England tried to kill test cricket off in the 50's and they are at it again. They are such a beatable team, too bad we are not good enough to take advantage of it.

When Kerry Gan got tonked everywhere I think Cook and co realised they picked a team incapable of taking 20 wickets and so have decided to play for the draw.

Cook has been horrific as a batsman this series.

It's a no result pitch, and they are 3-0 so they can play however they want... I am really not sure what the issue is, their goal is to win the series, and all that can happen here is they get out stupidly and your lot gets to apply pressure...

You're right, they are beatable, but you're also right they are a much better team than Australia, who really are pretty horrible in conditions that offer anything to bowlers... which is a real shame, because your bowling attack is terrific, and Harris is a very capable leader (but obviously a touch of Shane Bond about him)

that's rubbish - seldom did it under Waugh, and that's when you were vulnerable - Flem's team nearly beat you because of the pig-headed aggressiveness and we had some luck with the weather - and then you had McGrath bowling 3 feet wide of off stump, hardly aggressive :sarcasm:, but certainly under Border, and previously, many occasions when you and everyone batted for draws... part of test cricket, always has been - win if you can, draw is the next option
