The selection of Watson and Haddin and the non selection of Siddle to me has exposed the selectors as unfit for there roles

Series is over and Siddle is essentially untainted by the last two demoralising losses.

Wazn would have smacked a ton in this game, it means nothing.

Sids has busted a gut for Australia over the years and got dropped the first chance possible, Watson gave peaheart performances time after time was protected.

Sids should have been selected earlier, his style suits English conditions.

As I said the players are copping it, and rightly so, but the selectors have been atrocious.

Siddle is military medium and on the last few sputters of a test match career. Even taking him over was an inept decision, let alone selecting him for a game. Once he was there it could be argued he was worth a go in the previous match but we've lost this series on our batting anyway so what difference would he have made?

They should cop it for his selection, not his missing matches

Rain expected from 2pm BST tomorrow, Monday is expected heavy rain for the day:

So, Australia will have at least the first session (approx. 26-30 overs) minimum to get these last 4 wickets. They just either have to get Ali out or keep him away from the strike when he comes in to bat.

Keeping an eye on the radar here:

Warne et al in the commentary box also said around 2pm it's expected to piss down.
