U guys have a red and white eyes. As a manly supporter with Plenty of our own problems, u r kidding if u think that was in the same category as prior. Prior raised his elbow flush on jt. Inglis was committed to the shoulder charge.g. I didn't even see the contact. Prior was pre meditated. Unless u outlaw shoulder charges bad luck. Stop blaming incidents for ur teams crap performances and man up. U have players playing half hearted like my team.

Cool story bro

BTW- on todays Ch-9 Sunday Arvo Football, Roosters V Panthers, Vossy asked Gould what he thought of the hit on Dean by Inglis. Gould stated he saw nothing in or words to that affect? Surely he can't be serious? And i'm not saying that as Dragons supporter. I was 100% behind Prior send-off and his sentence. Inglis should have been sent off and deserves 4-6 weeks. i don't know if he has any carry-over points.

I like the way you trolls come on here and tell us what a player was thinking. Are you Psychic? No-one knows what Prior or Inglis was thinking, unless they told you personally. You can't say that Prior deliberately elbowed Thurston with intent, or Inglis intentionally set out to hit Young in the head, because you don't know.

The thing is, Prior instantly knew he did something wrong but Inglis didn't. He made no move to see how Young was, showed no concern for his safety as he lay there. All he did was continue to chase the ball. This behaviour confirms to me that he is a dog.

So go back to your own forums and whinge there.

Didn't see anyone say sorry to burgess either for trying to take his head off. I guess that's a dog act too then.... Or maybe they did in the dressing sheds afterwards...who knows.

Would be pretty hard to get anywhere near young to say "sorry " when half the dragons are trying to punch your lights. I'm sure the refs and trainers didn't want anyone around when they were checking on his welfare and the guy was bloody unconscious so I'm not too sure he would have appreciated the apology as he lay face down on the turf.

And Merrin the grub starts throwing punches at Farrell who tackled young around the legs. Talk about dogs.

If he had of shown that much fire in state of origin maybe he wouldn't of got dropped.

Once the fight started ( and started by merrin) there wasn't much chance of seeing if young was ok. The dragons forwards were more concerned about starting a fight cause their mate got flattened instead of seeing if he was alright and you blokes have the hide to bag inglis.

The funny thing was their lazy arses were 20m behind the play and not really in a position to make a call on the point of contact as it happened.

Supporters must remember that most teams are much stronger this year. The Dragons obviously are weaker.
They will be experiencing more pain than gain for a while to come.So hang in there and keep at the management of the Dragons. They need a rocket up their arse and must keep abreast of the situation or otherwise we will end up at the bottom of the table with the wooden spoon next year. Then we will see the shit hit the fan BIGTIME.

Maybe I'm seeing something different on my replay, I saw merrin push Farrell not punch him. Then from what I saw it was the Souths boys that came in all over Dean.
I agree bad timing from Merrin, but you need to take your red and green glasses off and have a look at the whole scene.
Merrin is not a dirty player and I'm sure if you were to ask any of your players they would agree.
It was very out of character for Merrin to react the way he did.

Merrin pushed yet another wannabe-gangsta in Farrell & the little lol@souffs dogs came crawling in looking for a fight. Inglis deserved 5-6 weeks, I bet you he gets 2 tops

on the "tackle" itself.

it was sickening to see.

if that sort of "tackle" is permitted under the rules, THEY HAD BETTER CHANGE THE RULES.

it was a massive hit and could have been fatal.

the rule makers should prevent its recurrence.

ban the shoulder charge.

Even if we were reduced to 10 men tonight yawl wouldn't have beaten us so you dragqueens should stop crying into your handbags, no?
Go f#*k off and watch your old black and white reels of your last premiership, the fact is Inglis your "star" signing put on a gutless hit on a player not able to defend himself so stick your comments .

Just watched the Prior tackle and the Inglis tackle on YouTube. Prior's was a lot worse, cocked elbow to the jaw where Inglis's shoulder made contact with the jaw. Inglis did jump he just braced himself for the contact. The thing I felt was disgrace was when Merrin decided to come in and cause trouble. If he had any concern for his teammate he would have stayed away and let the trainer do his job. Instead blows things up and the players are falling over Yong and the trainer. He should change his name from Merrin to Murkiness after that.

I hate Souths and I can't believe I'm sticking up for them.
You are dillusional,a player is knocked out by an illegal hit and you worry about a player sticking up for his teamate,i can't believe you are sticking up for them either .
