Thats the photo mate and the Footy Show did a segment on it on Sunday! It was hilarious! The "family" club!

I know :) It was funny as hell, definately rates as one of the funnier footy things on tv all year so far (& yes Kev, even if it were Richmond it still would have been funny), along with the 'Eddie Phone' - I don't watch TFS that often (Only till they talk about the Richmond game) but I will concede, the Eddie phone is a winner

What trigged me to TFC was I was sure I'd seen one of those clips somewhere before - It was the photo that they use in TFC!

The family club

There was a few on Big Footy of the love-triangle! I have been searching for it and can't find it. But the one in TFC is pretty good as well. The segment on the Footy Show will be tough to beat though!

I pity you lads...

Clearly coming from dysfunctional families incapable of showing affection for siblings...

Makes a pleasant change from the usual automaton displays of indifferent disdain for one another that we see eminating from clubs such as, Richmond & Essendon, by way of example...

Certainly wasn't much family feeling shown for young Jobe Watson on Saturday night :thumbd:

Couldn't care less about Watson- he needs to learn the hard lesson in footy and that is when in doubt kick the ball to the senior players! I think the love triangle is hilarious actually! Didn't you see the thing on the Footy Show Kev!

Footy show?

Never watch the rubbish.

Any form of media that sinks as low as to have Sam Newman on the payroll should be declared a crime against entertainment.

Damn, I'll see if I my brother has the clip. He decoded it last week. It is funny and highlights the "love-triangle" in the Hawks! Sam is good value, I like him. He's a tool some of the time but most of the time he is fine!:)

Cats rediscover their claws
10:05:30 PM Fri 12 May, 2006
Andrew Wu
Exclusive to afl.com.au

A four-goal-to-one burst in the third quarter has helped Geelong snap a four-match losing streak with an 18-point victory over an, at times, haphazard St Kilda at Telstra Dome on Friday night.

Unable to find inspiration on a night where champion Robert Harvey broke St Kilda's all-time games record, the Saints lacked precision and purpose heading forward and, apart from a brief flurry in the final quarter ,were no match for the Cats, who posted a 12.10 (82) to 9.10 (64) victory.

With Aaron Hamill forced off the field early in the first quarter after clashing with Steve Johnson, and Fraser Gehrig unable to shake off Matthew Scarlett, the Saints' highly rated forward line was limp and impotent.

No match for Steven King and Brad Ottens, the Saints ruck pair of Cain Ackland and Jason Blake was again smashed in the ruck 35 hit outs to 12, while at ground level the Cats won the clearances 37 to 15.

Kent Kingsley struggled up forward, goalless for a third straight match, but the Cats were dangerous when the ball hit the deck with Paul Chapman, who was best on ground with 26 possessions, and the recalled Steve Johnson booting three majors each.

Dear God what rubbish!

We need 3 more wins to drag us clear of the wooden spoon, but if we play like that again we won't be beating anybody!

If you only get a third of your side willing to put in at this level you're going to get punished.

Not looking forward to facing a revitalised Melbourne next week and just hoping that Hodge can pull-up okay, although I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't play.

Well done to Brisbane for fighting back after a week of full-on criticism. A sensational game from Jonathan Brown at his best.

Swans absolutely kicked arse !!!! The Tigs were pussies !!

Oh yeah, Swans kicked ass!!! How kick ass is it too be up by 100 points and STILL flood your whole team back. That kicks ass.. i wish i could watch them play week in week out.. They play the best style of footy!

Ok now seriously, we were out played by the Brumb.. i mean Swans (the amount of times they were kicking to touch i had to wonder if it was AFL or Rugby..) And the Swans deserved to win by about 10 goals. Im not doubting that or making excuses for it. Sydney outplayed us, simple as that. However i think i can make excuses for us losing by that much....

----

Now for my whinge, We saw the deaf umpires two weeks ago, surely the umps at the game today were the blind ones. I would like to single out that goal umpire who must have had a quid on the swans... he must of. How else can you honestly make that big of a mistake?

Now onto that clown who goes by the name of Steve McBurney, the fact that he was named All Australian Umpire for 2003 shows how 'good' the rest our AFL umpires are. He's in the wrong sport... he belongs in basketball or netball, actually no, even those sports have too much contact for his liking no doubt.
Pathetic display, i can't say much more, i can't single out a decision because there were so many. How about the out on the full that was almost in the stands and a throw-in was called. Just pathetic!

Something quick... us playing at the telstra dump gives our opponents about a 5 goal lead to start with. Have i ever said that i hate playing HOME games at that piece of sh#t of a place? Well i do! Anyone who wants to make a bit of extra cash, whenever Richmond are playing at the dump, no matter who we arem playing, Carlton, anyone.. put money on the other team. You will be a millionaire in no time.

My last point/whinge is this, When i saw our team list i knew we had pretty much no chance. Lets look at our defence.. or what should be;

Chaffey
Gasper
Ray Hall
Andrew Kellaway
Will Thursfield

Now with all those guys out... i knew we had to kick 120 (turned out we had to kick more... :( ) to win the game.

So saying all that, Well done to Sydney, you out-played us (obviously:() and were great today in terms on great for the way you play your footy. Myself, if my team played that style of football... i would probably lose interest halfway through the season. But obviously some fans only care about winning, however ugly it is... and good luck to you.

One last thing, Richmond fans who walk out at three quarter time.. keep walking.. off the the Bolte bridge.

Now i move on to next week... Adelaide (at TD)

Today just showed that when Sydney want to play good footy they are top 3 side. Richmonds defence was ordinary but when you get smashed in the midfield and in the ruck you will struggle to win the game even with your best defence! Richmond are screwed next week against Adelaide! Put Gasper in there for crying out loud!

We needed Gasper in Sydneys game (or someone other than Bowden for hall) more than we will need him next week. However any defenders would be nice to have.

Hopefully Knoble will come in next week..we are missing him almost more than any other player IMO. Simo and Staff are pretty average in the ruck. I hate to say it too.. Staff had another shocker.
