Which is why I want DWZ on the wing. Not sure it can happen but keeps us without a weak winger
I know where you are coming from and would agree if we had Edwards but for me personally I like DWZ at the back. He is a good communicator too, always barking instructions, very vocal which is what you need at the back. This is why Billy Slater is the best full back, doesn't shut up.

Can we clone DWZ perhaps. :D

I like Edwards at the back, and I like DWZ on the wing. But gee it's a hard one. As both bring such a lot to the fullback position.

RCG is a big part of this IMO, he inspires the squad to go with him, you can look at many games earlier this season, when he comes back on, we instantly start lifting defensively and show that aggression.
Totally Agree. Forward pack has not been the same without him. Loved how he came back out in the S.O.O and was rag dolling players like Gordan Tallis.

Article was on SMH. Interesting take on things from Brandy if true - Hook seems to have backing from the board.

Thanks for putting that up. Griffin (in my opinion is an easy target) there are some on social media (reading the play) for one who are almost like water torture in their continual agenda against him.

For whatever reason Griffin seems to 'cop' it. Whilst others *who are underperforming annually seem to escape.

Extract from an article on SMH - who thinks Griffin is putting in enough to earn $1.6M over the next 2 years????

While Panthers legend Greg Alexander, who is also the club’s deputy chairman, declared Griffin safe for the next two years, it is understood one reason the Panthers board is reluctant to let the coach go early because he has a whopping $1.6 million contract for the next two years, which would need to be paid out if they got rid of him.

As long as the board expectations are met hook won't go any where. The issue is when the fans and board expectations don't match. You get the whinging

Nothing surprises me but I would be very surprised if Anthony Griffin was on anywhere the money quoted.

The print media and social media pluck these figures out of there you know what's when in reality they have absolutely no idea what he would be earning. The same with player salaries it is largely all speculation on the part of the media.

Yeah 1 guy who played under him and then came to Sydney and worked for me part time while playing nrl here most weeks of the year. One of the best workers ive ever had and a champion bloke

Apparently Nathan Cleary is on the lookout for some additional 'third party agreements' perhaps you might me able to kick in Umina? They all count however modest.
