A lot of people have been saying that since Smith, Thurston, Cronk retired ut QLD had a team full of rep players Vs 11 rep rookies.

This gets me a little excited. I love Freddie. My favourite player of all time and he has really matured as a coach.

that would be awesome.... Fittler has recently expressed his interest in coaching Penrith in the future.

I really like Fitler when he talks seriously about footy. I also like the fact he seems to be an innovator which I think RL coaching is crying out for right now. I'd love to see Fitler given a chance. He has been good for City before he took on the NSW job also.

Fittler found his calling. He isn't suited to the intensity for 11 months a year that head coaching brings. So he is no chance

If anyone’s going to give him a job it will be Gus they are thick as thieves. He’s going to end up getting another nrl coaching job imo, he definitely seems to want to coach and three games a year isn’t going to satisfy him.

Outgunned how?

They used 13 debutants through the series. Queensland had an established superstar backline

Why does anyone want that stress?? Are you inside his head?? Far out mate you accuse of me of pushing my opinions as fact your in here talking like you what Fitler is thinking. He obviously has an interest in coaching, he’s been doing it since he retired, he’s just a footy head.

I don’t know what ‘too hippy’ means but I daresay it’s that kind of thinking that left us with a bunch of boring ass nrl coaches all copying off each other(going back a couple years).

Look at hooks innovation, it’s all just placing restrictions on players(banning attacking kicks etc). New thinking is desperately needed in the coaching ranks IMO. Id love to be the club that started it.
