Yeah bit of a shame he does seem like a genuinely good bloke
You need to be a prick to be a good coach long term

Best thing Fittler did was clean out the side. I thought he picked a terrific squad throughout the series & it definitely took some balls & he deserves credit for it.
Let’s be real though, QLD were there for the taking. Cam Smith saw the sinking ship a couple of weeks out & jumped off. Daley (if he had the same side) would of won the series.

Introducing another player into our spine has been great for the attack.
My money is firmly on Griffin being sacked now. Doesn’t matter if we come back and win this game, we’re heading for a 7th or 8th place finish again, little improvement over past years. He’s done.

I honestly believe that Hook will be hooked. Yes the pun was intentional. I was formerly in Hooks corner.I want Nathan to leave now, not cos he's bad or anything, but because I want to see him develop into an amazing player - something he won't do under this dud of a coach.

I didn't watch the game, and I agree. Hook needs to go, and James Maloney needs to allow Nathan to control the game.I was neutral but it's not a coincidence we look better when Cleary throws the gameplan out in the second half and takes over the team to do his own thing.

DWZ - 4 errors (3 with the line open)
Tamou simple drop attacking their line.
Merrin tries offload with 3 on him. Then gives a penalty and they score.
Not sure how a coach stops these?
Anyway see how we finish the year
