Best thing Fittler did was clean out the side. I thought he picked a terrific squad throughout the series & it definitely took some balls & he deserves credit for it.

Let’s be real though, QLD were there for the taking. Cam Smith saw the sinking ship a couple of weeks out & jumped off. Daley (if he had the same side) would of won the series.

Freddy can start planing for them now for next year. It really is a dream gig for coaches the same opponent after getting 10 months to plan

I listen to him on talking sport where he has a gig every morning, he is definitely a nice guy but you can tell he’s not cut out for coaching, he really doesn’t like bagging anyone but the refs.

In regards to Freddy, I know he would have a lot to prove, it would be a huge challenge. But I have to watch a lot of channel 9 games and when he is being serious you can tell he has a great knowledge of the game, he’s not stupid. I think his efforts with the blues this year go a little way towards showing he can connect with a group of players. It would be a risk but if hook isn’t working out by the end of the year or the end of his contract and Freddy was willing I’d love to see that happen. Even if it was as an assistant of some sort.

I was neutral but it's not a coincidence we look better when Cleary throws the gameplan out in the second half and takes over the team to do his own thing.

I didn't watch the game, and I agree. Hook needs to go, and James Maloney needs to allow Nathan to control the game.

Well it went like last week. We looked trash until Nathan took over and played his natural game and the entire team was better for it.

He also has the players standing and passing. There's no players in motion when we are attacking. Our structures and kicking are terrible.
