Because there are a lot of death riders out there mate.

We went from the spoon to 2nd round of the finals with the said coach back on board.

Everyone said all year we had no halves - 2016 we have a pairing that I am optimistic about.

Fair call and agreed but we are stuck with him right? Obvioulsy has a pretty tight contract and nobody else out there available aside from Toovey I guess who could possibly do a better job.

Yep sadly we are stuck with him for next season minimum. Just hope he can adapt, because I cant see the way we play doing any damage in the finals even with better halves.

👍 definitely improved in the halves for next season. Just hope our forwards aren't too old to get the job done!

And ultimately that is the issue.
Got us to the finals - well done.
Now win the thing - sorry I just cant see it happening. There is too much water under the bridge and Im not sure he could inspire the team to believe they could do it. They didn't have belief in the cowboys game at all, and that was after having the wood on them in both normal games of the season.

Agree, but we should look at the coaching , defence and attack as separate coaching solutions . Needing separate coaches guided by a head coach. It would need a three coaches working as a team and this could be the challenge.
