Toops was great last night.

Toups has been awesome off the bench. Our attack goes to another level when he steps on the field. He does everything at pace and hits the ball in top gear unlike most who are usually flat footed when catching the ball.

Imagine the tampon blow outs if he'd taken a young back off for Barba ?

Make your f**king minds up

The coach made the call and it worked
Barba looked the best he has for 2 years last night.

Looked the best he has for 2 years?

He played well but not THAT well as in his bulldog playing days.

I just wonder if Flanno will be doing his wing interchange for the remainder of the season?

Frenzy.

We could finish 1st and win the GF and Since73 would still be calling for Flannos head. I can see he's point on some things but come on we are playing great footy give Flanno some credit.

"I can see he is point....."

Why can't people get this right? Basic

Say what you like about Barba's improvement, he was still ordinary. Not in the top 50% of fullbacks in the NRL so far this week, and that was his BEST?

He might be better than flash, he is probably not ever going to be better than Holmes going forward... but he did his best in sharks colours.

Isn't that the mediocrity we have all come to hate?

The team is going well, and I don't know if it's down to luck, Flanno, Gorman or whatever, but it is fanciful to say that the proof for Flanno being a great coach is in his handling of Barba this week.

Actually his best is Dally M winning form.

Fanciful?

Get a grip
All I was commenting on was the hypocritical comments made by posters in here.
They whinge about Gordon being old or whatever
They say Barba is not a 5/8
They say the coach made up the bird injury
They even reckon he played in NSW cup that week

Yet when he does the exact thing they are crying for they'll change their story to suit an agenda.

And if Barba can get back to his best Holmes won't see the number 1 jersey much.

Remember a week or two ago when toovey was the coach we needed?
About brad Arthur
Or the bloke from the roosters

The more I read in here the more I realise most of you have no idea about footy.

Let's not forget round 1 we had Mitch Brown on the wing while Holmes played in the 20s.

Flanno logic. He only does things when he is forced.

Master plan to have bird in the 6?

Spare me.

Well I think the Sharks have recruited the best they have for many, many years under Flanno.

We've missed out on some top talent but no one gets everyone they go for.
But at least we have a go these days.

I think we're going to see the team really come together this year as a Premiership force and we will stay under the radar as most teams atm will still not take us that seriously which suits us fine.

I saw a really focused team play against Newcastle that is really starting to gel and look dangerous with the ball in hand.

I think we'll only get stronger as the year goes on and the Flanno boo boys will be sitting in the corner twiddling their thumbs.

It's starting to look like that, I don't care if people don't like the coach but Flanno can do nothing right in some posters eyes. And I think he once cut 73's grass .

I'm not getting fluffy but we are starting to see some potential and the forwards have smashed the opposition the last 3 games.

Agree on recruitment as well.

The test is this week. Newcastle and Roosters didn't turn up. South's will. And we're likely to be missing Fifita and Ennis through suspension.

Roosters were the best defensive team in the comp before playing us. Knights won 4 from 5 before playing us. Both sides top 4. They were both as real tests as Souths will be.

They didn't turn up because the Sharks didn't allow them to turn up.
