If the grounds were not adequate, we currently would have no venues to play in.

This is not the case.

Could they be better, of course, but the quality of the stadium are not effecting the day-to-day running of the NRL.

I guess your comprehension of adequate is different to my literal application of adequate.

All the current grounds used in the NRL are of satisfactory quality for the League to use them, therefore we have adequate venues right now.

Once again, the NRL has to take a backseat to accommodate the stupidity of ANZ Stadium management and the arrogance of the AFL. The Bulldogs should be pissed as hell.

AFL got their deal done first. NRL were too stupid to notice. NRL left it until now to deal with it publicly.

AFL had no need to be arrogant here, they were smarter. The NRL is too tight/stupid to book the stadium for two nights..............or to book it first.

The AFL Grand Final replay is a massive game which will draw a crowd upwards of 70,000. Could very well be a Grand Final preview. Two quality teams in a finals warm up. Bullcheats vs Penriff is a very meh matchup that will struggle to draw 20,000. Two mediocre teams that will be fighting over top 8 scraps. Sydneysiders will vote with bums on seats. Not hard to figure out which match is the bigger event.
