Why do we deserve to get penalised for that? Why cant they reverse the decision anymore. Dan Hunt called for a shoulder charge that wasn't a shoulder charge. Roosters have destroyed us on their own they dont need the flipping refs help too.

Well- this has been a disgusting display of non structured ineptness. What have they been doing for the past 10 days? Sure wasn't any defensive training going on. All that support and players running good lines off the ball has magically dissipated.

Both calls led to tries for the roosters plus Rein was called for a knock on that wasn't and that led to a Roosters try.

Just saying.

34 to 10 terrible result, never in it, penalty count missed tackles , refs did not help but we were our own worst enemy, glad its over......

Agreed, although the roosters are a formidable team this year. Our forwards were completely dominated, and the defense (particularly stopping off-loads) was sub-par for us. Soward and Fein seemed to go backwards - they had nothing. There was little support play. I thought it was our worst performance of the year.

Roosters too good. Score flattered them but.

Try off Dan hunt shoulder charge. Then try off a knock on. Then a forward pass x2 tries.

Just sayin.

We'll bounce back.

Pearce still does nothing in that team.

I think today just confirmed the gulf between top 4 & the rest. The Roosters are a very good team this year & were pumped up for today. The Dragons lost their way in the first half after that blitz, but held their own in the 2nd. The Roosters defence was strong, but the Dragons made it easier by kicking early on numerous occasions in good field position.

No one was interested today. Soward showed nothing and our defence was terrible. Again Merrin was the best dragons player.

Agree with your comments above......You would think that the players would have known pre game regarding Prices decision to keep coaching beyond 2013 and lifted for todays game.....yeah sure nudge nudge wink wink......

Dan Hunt was interviewed post match and was asked about the Price re-signing. He said that was the first he knew of it.

I was waiting for this game as I thought it would give an indication of where they are at. The game proved one thing and that is they can't match it with quality sides. The Rorters, And credit to them, Blew them away. The past three wins have been against clubs that will not pose a threat come Sept. Sadly, The Dragons are in the same boat.

Dugan/Chase anyone?

We're not in their league. Today was awful. No creativity with the ball, and we had back to back sets. They looked like scoring every time they made it into our 20.

If we get beat, I can handle that, but when we get beat and play that bad, it's depressing.

The only players that made any impact at all were, Frizell, Merrin & De Bellin. The rest were very ordinary. Other notations that stood out;
* Nightingale was caught out of position in defence a number of times. I love him but he is not a fullback.
* Morris does not know how to pass the ball. After his long run all he has to do is pass the ball to Cooper who scores, no I think I will hog it this time.
* Fein and Soward went back to the round 1 form.
* Roosters will go close to winning comp if they stay injury free.
* Even if we do scrape into the eight or thereabouts, our for and against is going to kill us. When we win we win by a couple, when we lose we lose by heaps.

Roosters big, fast, well drilled, a very good team at the moment

Dragons slow, rudderless, lacking ideas.

A painful loss but expected. We have got nothing this year

- We matched it early, we looked on par, but as soon as they cranked up a gear we were shredded with speed, creativity & power in all aspects of the game.

- Today we had no space at all to work our attack, they seemed up on us, before we could even get a ball out wide, and we really didnt adjust our attack until very late, not that it would make much difference, they pretty much have us man for man in their entire 13, speed really was the killer with how easily they converted their line-breaks.

- Dont like that were resulting to early tackle count low % plays as literally our only genuine scoring opportunity, I think Soward/Fien gave up in the 2nd half, we didnt look like scoring apart from kicks.

I cannot recall seeing a more inept performance from us on ANZAC day. Sure the Chooks we overdue for a win. But the humiliation they dished out to us was simply unacceptable. There used to be pride in wearing the big red V jersey. I saw none of that on display today. Very dispiriting to say the least.
