Ando told people at the forum that INU has been sh*t all year with the exception of the Brisbane..

you can read into that how ever way you like.

Cayless has been worse for years and he wants to keep him

at least Inu is young. letting him go would be a massive mistake imo

probably because he's worse :?

you're talking about a coach who's been scratching his head at how this squad has been assembled since November I'm sure if he had his way he'd keep about 6 players and then just re build the rest of the squad from scratch.

 I can picture DA doing that, since he started watching some of these guys play and he would be wondering who was this Hagan guy who writes stories about expert opinions.

lats has the skinniest legs for a forward,

more worrying is ...

when he hits the line he slows down to make it easy for the tackler. the opposite of fui. its like he is scared of injury?

To be fair, his legs and shoulders are jelly these days.

The days of the big centre are gone, unless your in the same league as a Mal Meninga then if your big you'll be in the backrow not in the centres. Look at Jennings, he is the future of centres, great foot work, speed of the mark. Ben Smith has none of those and thats why it was tried to move him to the backrow but he is too soft for that.

Big centres are only so good that they have the speed and footwork to match. Personally big centres from a defensive point of view are a lot better than the smaller ones (because they tend to be better defenders), smaller guys are only put in the centres if they have blinding speed and footwork, but for the most part the NRL centres these days are usually big.

It's just that in Mal's days he was the only big centre lol.

I mean if you look at the small centres in the NRL, they have a lot of pace and footwork.

Michaels, Jennings, Tate.

When calling someone an idiot, probably best to make sure you've spelt everything correctly. Otherwise, i'm afraid, you're an idiot.

Can't confirm or deny, but t hought I'd discuss anyway...

I don't think Tautai is in DAs plans for top 25 squad next year and is off-contract, so he'll sign with someone sooner or later.

I don't think Junior Paulo is in the 21 players re-signed as yet, so unless he accepts minimum wage and is ahead in the pecking order compared to guys like Latimore, Horo etc then I expect he will go.

Tim Smith would be welcome back on minimum wage (as above), as a third string halfback option. Would be handy to have in Wenty and to call upon only when our top choices (Keating, Mortimer) are injured. It's a life-line that Tim's career needs, not really something that we need more than him imo.

I wouldn't want Mateo to bust a gut getting back this season... rather he is good for long term than trying to get a short term fix. His lock position is safe for next year.

Inu? I guess he's one of several players that is being paid more than he is playing like he is worth... Hayne was in the same boat but has stepped up his efforts. DA probably fancies he could use the money better if he had it to spend, same with Ben Smith's long contract?

Hindy seems to be a real Eels man. Captain material? He plays for 80 minutes and acts as captain to the refs when Cayless is off resting, so he may as well be.

IMO Hindy is co-captain anyway. Thats the way he portrays himself by:

1. Leading by example on and off the field.
2. Revving the team up when needed.
3. Telling players the facts of life when they need it.
