looks half decent. Not a world beater, but better than Tuala.

This is part of the problem let Toa go but keep Tuala, Obi is big on defence but makes that decision. Not saying Toa will be great but better option than Tuala.
Biggest complaint we brought Tuala in but basically brought Toa through our system

Recruitment and retention of juniors is about bringing in better players than you have and keeping the good juniors that have a future. Toa played a few games for us on the wing and mostly sucked. While Tuala has sucked in the centres, he has had some fantastic games for us on the wing and on that balance he is a better value player for us than Toa was. Both would have been on similar money too

Absolutely nothing. Comes from a good system with no First Grade coaching experience just like O’Brien.

Could be the next SuperCoach or could be a total flop.

Once again, you've completely missed the point.

He might be. He might not be. We lost the gamble last time - we would be stupid to bet on it again.

Absolutely nothing. Comes from a good system with no First Grade coaching experience just like O’Brien.

Could be the next SuperCoach or could be a total flop.

One key difference. Ciraldo is seen as the cool new kid on the block with a lot of hype. Players will want to be coached by him. He was a recent NRL player himself which won’t hurt either.

AOB never had that. I would compare his signing more to Andrew Webster for the Warriors. Maybe a great coach…but won’t have that pull recruitment wise.

Luck has nothing to do with it.
