What about telling her you're moving away?

I've done that before... i was "offered" a "job" in Melbourne that was "to good to pass up"

Slowly but surely the conversations died down... though it is a risky move if the other person knows where you live and or is in close proximity at all...

Dammit, girl I've had a thing about for ages says she's got a thing for me too, but since I'm moving to Sydney nothing is going to happen.

Balls

:(

Only one thing to do...

honesty and maturity is an amazing thing when it comes to these matters, it is unfortunately difficult to come by and not always well received. For some reason, people seem to like to play games early in a relationship, or prior to a relationship, or prior to considering one, or whatever. People are stupid, dishonest and immature

Agree completely. Has playing games ever worked out good for anyone? Whenever I see it it only ends up with someone getting the wrong impression or getting hurt.

Do you really need a relationship with someone who doesn't understand how important football is?

I'm lucky that nothing will get in the way of me watching a game, unless I want it to. And vice versa for my partner. But f**k anyone who won't let me go watch a game. or who says things like "it's only one game, you can watch next week's" ARGH
but she did say you could go - if she uses it against you later, well ... you can deal with that however you want. and if Dragons lose you can say it's her fault you had to sit through the match because she didn't make you go to her birthday...

That's why I feel sorry for all the hen pecked blokes. It's the reason I can only go to the footy with my old man once a year. The last home game of the season. That way if my stepmother want to try that on I just tell her it's our fathers day get together and she backs off very quickly.

As I said they do it just to annoy us. Perhaps it could be worth a night or 2 in the dog house.

funny timing actually - last night my man had to decide if he's going to come to my brother's birthday or go to the Dogs V. Roosters. I'm half hoping he picks the game so that I can pick my team over his family all next year without feeling guilty :D
