Dizzy averages 24.65 from his last 16 Tests with a century and two fifties.

Michael Clarke averages 25.09, with two fifties and no hundreds from the same period.

In Batting looks like Clarke is double the player Symonds is at the very least

Symonds was a reasonable player but that is not the point. He is not in the side. Calrke on the other hand, with a stellar average of 25 in his last 16 tests holds onto his spot! And some people don't think this side has NSW bias written all over it:roll:

I want both Clarke and Symonds to perform consistently. But franky IMO, the only thing performing for Clarke is his age.

And if Cosgrove gets a shot and is up to it he may become the jedi apprentice and Clarke given the bump.
