Half way through a flagon of Kereru At-AT Pilsener. 11.5% and steadily getting pickled. Just so damn drinkable, and not syrupy like other high percent beers i.e. Duvel Chimay etc

Pagan Apple Cider. Fresh crushed Tasmanian apples as opposed to concentrate. Very light crisp apple, with a rather sherberty taste. Dry finish.

Refreshing.

Have you had Howler apple cider, from Darkes Forrest?

Maybe similar taste, not nearly as sweet as some apple ciders but very good IMO.

Can't say I have. That cider wasn't sweet, but the mouthfeel of sherbert is particularly unique.

Came home and found most of the beers I'd liberated from my mate's wedding last November were still in the fridge.

Plowed through the Dos Equis, Boag's, and Fat Yak already.

Now all that is left in my fridge is Tooheys Old, XXXX Gold, and f**king Chill.

Omnipollo / Buxton Brewery Yellow Belly Peanut Butter Biscuit Stout.

A bit pricey at $20 a bottle, but easily the best beer I've ever had.

To each their own, and Coopers is certainly not a bad beer and one I drink a lot of, but it's definitely one of the most boring "pale ales" on the market.

And right now costs more than Fat Yak, which is on sale for 49 bucks

Anyway Squires Hop Thief is the pale ale of choice for me in terms of case buys

My local aldi has coopers green for 43$. Sometimes the red as well for 46!
