I quite like Blue Moon. It's nothing amazing, but it's a pleasant enough wheat beer for a hot day. Fond memories of drinking it on the beaches of Florida a few years ago.

The top pub at Byron has a beer dispenser with 20 brands available.

Its basically a big chrome plated pipe with 10 taps on the top and 10 on the bottom. Some of them are ciders and the like but I have never seen so much choice in draft beer at any pub. And the biggest seller is the local fruity beer.

Good shit. Brewdog are weird, they do some great beers and some absolute stinkers....

Got a sixer from a supplier.

Drinkable, wouldn't pay for it.

Essentially yeah. Big improvement on Crown Lager, but that's not saying very much at all

i love their beers, will always try their new ones.. got a bottleshop near us which has about 12 or so different brewdog varieties..

still haven't managed to get my hands on 'sink the bismark' though..

notes:

Sink the Bismarck is a quadruple IPA that contains four times the hops, four times the bitterness and frozen four times to create at a staggering 41% ABV.

This is IPA amplified, the most evocative style of the craft beer resistance with the volume cranked off the scale. Kettle hopped, dry hopped then freeze hopped for a deep fruit, resinous and spicy aroma. A full out attack on your taste-buds ensues as the incredibly smooth liquid delivers a crescendo of malt, sweet honey, hop oils and a torpedo of hop bitterness which lasts and lasts.

essentially, drinking one of those beers is the equivalent of downing half a bottle of spirits..

It would probably be way too much tbh.

The hop craze is a bit ridiculous, but I'd give it a try and head back to a more session able choice.

That looks delicious!

My favourite pub in Baltimore got a half barrel of bourbon, drained it and aged some of their abbey brown ale in it.

It was incredible.

I love hoppy beers so I guess it depends on your tastes too. I can drink a four pack of Sierra Nevada Hoptimum in about the time it takes me to drink one of Bentspokes new scotch ales, for example

Tried the Tooheys Darling tonight. Very drinkable, but that's about all you could say about it.

I managed to try a very small glass at a craft beer bar once. It isnt really close to an IPA as you would know it. It is essentially like drinking a spirit that leaves a bit of a hoppy zing in your mouth.

Same with Tactical Nuclear Penguin. Brewdog really push the boundaries but to me they are at their best when they keep it simple.
