Go check the Serb votes from the start of the year, then come back and apologise..So why go back to 2017, just post the very recent one's say from anywhere between the Charity Shield & Round 20 this year.

Spot on post.....unfortunately every time a player comes out and admits responsibilty for a poor season it alleviates the pressure on McGregor....yes to a point some players should accept some responsibility particularly when they themselves havnt played the best.....but as I said its just giving The Imposter more ammunition to justify his shortcomingsTake DCE for example. People were laughing a couple of years ago when he signed for 10 years for a million a season. He looked like the biggest waste of money Manly had ever made. A couple of years later and a new coach and he's looking like a world beater - even being recalled into the QLD team.
Seriously, calling for his head at this stage while retaining Mary is a joke. The real issue is the coach. Until we get a better coach we'll never get a true picture of the roster we have.
Possum, you have a propensity for demanding the unrealistic.Outside of some deadwood within our playing roster our real problems are all to do with SGI football management includeing the CEO, fitness staff, coaching staff and recruitment/pathways/retention staff.
Sign the following players for 2020:
Let go the following Players at seasons end:
- Ramien - right centre
- Gagai - left centre
- RCG - prop (using JDB's salary cap).
- Fill any other backup/reserve grade spots with our juniors.
Management staff:
- Dufty - swap for a good big fast winger/fullback if possible
- Field
- Maranta
- Timm - would rather keep him if possible
- Kerr - would rather keep him if possible
- Allgood
- Latimore - retired
- Graham - may retire
- Robson - going to NQ
- Masters - going to Souths
- Aitken - swap for Ramien
- Lafai - swap for an ESL outside back/fullback
- And maybe some others who we do not want.
So our run-on 17 for 2020 could be:
- Let go Johnston
- Hire Gus Gould on a two year deal as CEO.
- Let go Mary, his coaching staff, Millward and his staff and the current fitness staff.
- Hire a new head coach Toovey or Griffin and let the new coach hire his own coaching staff, fitness staff and recruiting/pathways/retention staff.
Coached by Toovey or Griffin.
- Lomax
- Saab
- Ramien
- Gagai
- Ravalawa
- Norman
- Hunt
- RCG
- McInnes
- Vaughan
- T Sims
- Frizell
- Leilua
- K Sims
- Lawrie
- Blacker
- Ford
So it is very important that we act now on the management changes, sign Ramien, Gagai and RCG for next season and beyond ASAP and give young players like Blacker and Ford a spot on the first grade bench till end of season.
Typical response but as expectedGo check the Serb votes from the start of the year, then come back and apologise..
Not much else I can do mate.. It’s all there in the threads if you actually have a look..Typical response but as expected
You’re as big a disappointment as Hunt.
Apology lol
Bo should have stayed with Hope..Like sands through the hour glass......
He is not alone in that......Title bit misleading. Thought he may have put his hand up to deflect from the coach. In reality he will take the money and run and give his all...come origin time each year.
Most Parra supporters thought the same.Norman strikes me as a bit of a front runner only plays good when the team is!
I know its bull(*^ isnt it Timm would smash through lines in first grade and never give up intensity...I think hes better than LawriePossum, you have a propensity for demanding the unrealistic.
I don’t think Lomax is a fullback, Timm not getting a go really annoys the crap out of me; what is Mary’s issue there I wonder?
It's hilarious how the alleged highest paid player in the club takes the blame but the coach and the leadership group are silent.
It speaks volumes about the culture of the club.
Who will get the blame when we lose to the Titans on Saturday?
I tend to think our whole Club is lazy.Hunt played pretty good in Origin..
Why isn’t he doing the same at club level?
He must be lazy or something..
That would be Hunt's lazy ass rubbing off on them...I tend to think our whole Club is lazy.
Guaranteed money in club footy $30k extra for origin heck I remember slater couple of years ago pull out of a club game when he didn’t need to for origin because the club money was the same weather he played or not,you gotta show up for your origin cash!Hunt played pretty good in Origin..

Cool story bro..Guaranteed money in club footy $30k extra for origin heck I remember slater couple of years ago pull out of a club game when he didn’t need to for origin because the club money was the same weather he played or not,you gotta show up for your origin cash!
In other words theyCool story bro..
Could you tell me it in english?
Couldnt agree moreSo true. We look for this player or that player to blame for our woes but the problem lies at the feet of Johnston and MacGregor. Hunt has been disappointing but god it must be depressing trying to implement our ‘match plan’. I suspect that given half a chance Hunt would leave but he is being paid too much for another club to take him, and would cost us too much to unload him. So he is living in the land of the living dead, which is our team. For as long as Mary is with us many of our players will play below their ability and young players who have potential will not develop.
f**king lol.Ben -if you're reading this and you care as I do about this club- you will save yourself untold angst and earn the everlasting gratitude of many St George supporters like me.
