Brett Stewart found not guilty of sexual assault

I am sure that people of low breading can afford to live in the same apartments as Brett. It must be like $100 a week to live there.

I don't smoke so that means I am from high society.

I am sure none of them smoke, take drugs or sleep around. They know better after all.

Informing the misinformed here but anyhow....she lives two doors down according to one report.

I know Manly, ok mate. So tell me too, do you think a 17 year old girl from an area such as that, who smokes, and acts like she does toward her parents, etc, can be trusted with a sexual assault claim?

To the guy going on about darwin....guess what....making money in complex financial markets is not based on how clever you are!? Did you know?

Intelligence is not defined by how much you earn, and money does not define intelligence. Dick Smith and Richard Branson both high school dropouts, both billionairs....through dedication, hard work, persistence, a little bit of luck, and creativity...but mostly hard work and effective work.

One thing is for sure mate, this 17 year old - she better be a fantastic catch, because bretts current squeeze is a stunner.

But get this chumpy...I dont think a girl who is 17 and smokes against her parents wishes, casting about sexual assault alegations is any match for Jamie Baker, who is being understood to be supporting brett.

Make up your own mind....dimwitted erratic smoker, or hot stable stunner?

So do you sexually assualt the 17 year old for some bizarre reason, or do you count your lucky stars Jamie likes you a lot and sees something in you somewhere, and just go home to her? (bretts probably a great guy i would think)

I think there is more to this allegation than meets the eye.

Just dont put your heads in the sand, people, again. Ok.

I assume Apartments due to a stairwell. Otherwise it has nothing to do with any argument. They are neighbors in an area that would not be cheap.

Once again smoking does not make you a bad person. Just on your new tangent I thought you were arguing that smoking was a curse for lower bred people not people of low intelligence.

Where are the accusations on Brett's character after admitting he can not remember what happened (maybe he was too drunk). I would think that is worse than going out for a smoke.

Being blind drunk could be the only reason he needed.

Where is the Just out side minding her own business option to your quiz?

please show me the report where it says he was blind.

I know smoking does not make you a bad person, thats a given....but from ones actions, one can devulge a character...and her smoking alone was not reason for me to label her as such....there is her age, her situation, her actions, her parents actions, bretts actions so far, how her parents treat her, how she treats her parents.

You see a white light. I see a brilliant rainbow, there is no comparison. My perception is not based on whim of thought or creative writting, its based on evidence. Its true, i rely on the acuracy of the reporters in these matters.

But its not hard for me. I do this a lot. :) sly smile.

You can bet on this sh it man.....trust me. People I know. See me first.

If you can not remember what happened that night it is safe to say he was blind drunk.

Or maybe he took some drugs.;-)

Or if we want to be fair to his character and not throw around blind assumptions based on one fact maybe he has taken one to many hits to the head and now has uncontrollable blackouts where he does not remember what happened. Lucky for him Friday night was one of these days right?

You see everything i wrote. Now compare it to yours. Analyze it for once.

You got nothing, just a thought.

You must look at peoples actions, motives, reasons, character, everything....never their words.

reshown from above:

Remember: parents and role models shape thoughts, as well as peer groups.....thoughts become actions....actions become habbits...habbits become a character....character becomes personality = who you are....

all started by the role models.

everything in the report IS ASSOCIATED!!!

Its all wound up....you just dont know how to piece together the puzzle...

Yes becuase Brett is so great and all he could never do anything wrong.

I don't know how I am suppose to tell you about her motives reasons, character as all I know about her is she smokes out the front of the house and I do not make assumptions on a persons character based on that.

I don't know how you have based it on her words becuase she has not had anything to say.

I don't need to analyze unfounded accusations.

Then you are not worth debating. Because you are absolutely wrong, and I know it. Reality knows it. BUt you fail to see it.

Well, I guess because you feel so strongly about this you won't change your mind....I'm not going to bother....i guess you just "feel" right, huh.

Go ahead. Whatever you want to believe that fits neatly into your version of the world.

Good for you. But thankyou and good night.

You are insane.

She is 17 she is expected to do stupid things like smoke even though it is not legal for her to buy smokes but not illegal for her to smoke them. What situation? that she smokes or that she was home at 8 on a Friday night? How about this for how she treats her parents and how they treat her. She is a teenager ffs. There are always boundaries to push.

He is 23 or whatever he is and a professional athlete who would have gone though so many courses about how to act in public, how not to embarrass his club, drink responsibly and how to treat women. What were Bretts actions call for his Lawyer to fix it all.? He has not even tried to say he is innocent.

I never want you to read between the lines for me in a life and death situation.

What report is this you talk of?

I think I am a lot more open minded than you that is for sure.

It is good to see such a well renown psychologist as $$Poor Boy Blues$$ gracing us here today. Your brilliant profiler like insight into the mind of a teenage skank is brilliant and I presume you have been contacted by the police to give witness to her as a gigantic liar based on being a teenager and a smoker.

I used to smoke when I was a teenager, because I was stupid enough to smoke with my mates. Turns out that cigarettes are highly addictive and quite hard to quit. Bit weird innit how you can smoke because of peer pressure and then end up addicted, quite weird indeed. I presume in her case it was the skank gene (trademark Dr $$Poor boy blues$$ PhD) that led to her smoking.

I look forward to reading your future academic work sir!

Astonishing commentary by $$Poor Boy Blues$$. :sarcasm:

A question if I may.

I used to smoke in a stairwell at school when I was 17.

Was I a crack whore?

dont be naive.

copy and paste my post to your desktop to read at a later date. There is only hot air in this story.

Expect nothing to come of it.

Plus, you have only looked at her side of the story....there are two sides.

Look, i didn't just throw about wild acusation based on flimsy evidence...you can also tell from the way she must interact with her parents and the situation in general....you are not dealing with gracious people here.

Shake his hand? (thanks for the great options there btw) Pal, the man reacted to his little daughter in distress: He is already reacting to a situation out of control started by a young girl who is no doubt erratic to start with, which would all lead to something occuring that is completely out of proportion....it was on the drive way for heavans sake...

smoking socially acceptable...only 20% of people now smoke, and its probably less....thats not a majority mate, and have you ever smelt smoke around you, if you dont smoke, its unbearable. New research is showing that smoking is socially isolating now....30 years ago 50% of people smoked....1 in 2 is not socially isolating.

it still stands, she is too young to smoke. so smoking keeps off weight and is ok by you? great standards you have...lol...no wonder you think she is a fine chick.

if you examine the evidence at your disposal, consider brett has not said anything, and know that no charges were laid, and AVO's are run of the mill nowadays, see a girls dad come outside to her cries for help and get agressive (which may be understandable but anger helps very few situations and this is not one of them).

you work it out...can you say beyond any reasonable doubt that brett did anything? you have not even heard him speak yet. I'm just saying the one way traffic against brett is very flimsy and will deteriorate rather quickly when brett can put his side of the story up.

Now i have been shocked only once before by a league player and that was when julian oneil took a dump at a hotel in the lobby or somewhere as such. Unless brett stuart was horny and wanted it right then and there, dont expect to be shocked.

I bet a lot of you guys are like her: you think you know everything....but everyone does when they are under 25.

Awesome, I'm 26 so I'm allowed to comment.

Your attempts to "examine the evidence" and draw complete judgemental comclusions on the girl and her family are comical. It makes you no better than the people you're arguing with who have done the same thing to Stewart.

Also, saying that Stewart's gf is a stunner as some evidence towards his innocence is also a joke. When a guy is going to cheat (not talking about Stewart, just guys in general) he doesn't take a step back and think about how a girl looks in comparison with his gf. If he's interested then he's interested.

The NRL have virtually said that you're tainted goods now Brett Stewart, by pulling their ad campaign featuring him. He hasn't been charged, and it maybe an innocent incident, but if the club stand him down then they are saying he is as good as guilty till proven innocent.
What else were they going to do dickhead..they had to pull the ad..and manly should be hit up with the bill for it

On what grounds? He is accused, he is not proven guilty yet. They could have sought name suppression if he was worried about his image I guess, but it is a free judicial society so it is not a crime to give information to police or make allegations that demand further investigation.

It's not a matter of trust. It's a matter of fact. Did it or did it not happen. Simple really. You cannot contemptiously seek out subjects to impinge because their characters are not perfect.

You seriously, seriously, seriously need to open your eyes. You do know that Ted Bundy was engaged (to two women mind you, but was strongly tied to one in particular) while he raped and murdered 34 young women, right? Your comment is just daft. Forgetting the Bundy situation as he was psychotic, but to assume blokes do not slip up regardless of what they're doing in the comfort of their own bedroom is stupendously naive.

I think there is more to this allegation than meets the eye.

Just dont put your heads in the sand, people, again. Ok.
The only person appearing to do that on these forums is yourself.

Slightly OT but studying law yourself Iafeta I would have thought that bolded comment is fairly standard practice by defence lawyers.

I'm only doing business law mate, but yes, of course if it got to court than of course the defence team is going to try and put doubts into the ultimate deciders minds based on the character of the defendant as they would with witnesses too. What I'm saying though is that because you have a less than perfect lifestyle does not mean you are a free target by the accused.
