Brisbane Tigers make their bid to be 18th team

It’s almost like it’s ok for different people to have different opinions!
The thing is these opinions are held by the same people.

@mongoose is always arguing that there's a massive conspiracy between Ch9, News Ltd, ARU and ARLC to keep rugby league confined to Brisbane and Sydney. He contradicts this claim by stating there's no way they'll add a third team in Brisbane within the next 30 years. He continuously talks up expansion into Perth, despite saying there's a conspiracy to never put a team there.

You say News Ltd don't want competition for the Broncos, yet you ignore the fact they paid for the Dolphins to enter the NRL. If they have the power to keep Brisbane a one team team then they wouldn't have paid for the Dolphins.

he seriously can't handle other people not wanting another Brisbane team, he gets emotionally unstable over it with ad hominem attacks. It's amusing to watch...
I want another 2 teams in SEQ, but i know the ARLC aren't looking to add more till the dolphins are setup and entrenched for atleast 5-10 years... till then png, nz, perf are all other options to add in the meantime,.
To me there isn't a bias on which area should get a licence, its more who deserves it for the effort they've put in towards thier current bid or lower grade comps in their overall advancement of RL,
So none of those fan polls or player polls mean shit
The ARLC would rather give no licence if that area isn't putting any effort... for all the talk around Perth there's nothing to show

The only people who want a Perth-based team are the mentally ill sooks who are traumatised by their work colleagues teasing them about rugby league being a "two state sport".

Wow so 26% of NRL fans live in Perth, Adelaide and Melbourne? Give them all 2 teams each.

Yet another one of your dumbarse posts that backfired on you.

Pot. Kettle. Black.

Whenever anyone suggests anything other than favouritism towards Adelaide and Perth they're mocked by narrowminded expansionists. The vitriolic comments from you, Dane and Perth Wreck towards anything that doesn't place Perth over Brisbane and PNG are very intolerant and elitist. People are allowed to disagree with you.

How did you come to that conclusion, Maxipad?

Pretty funny Sydney rugby league clubs can get sponsors from Perth yet they have little interest in bankrolling a Perth nrl team

Ah well the poll said that 26% of NRL fans support Perth being the next team, and your response was this

something you and your circlejerk of morons regularly say about the Perth and Melbourne residents on here. So based on your own logic, that'd indicate that 26% of NRL fans are Perth and Melbourne residents.

It's not my problem you are too stupid to remember your own words.

It was the fan poll that you initially responded to

I never said they live in Adelaide and Perth.

My response implied that the respondents were Queenslanders, New South Welshmen and Canberrans who got teased by their work colleagues about rugby league being a "two state sport".

There are plenty of fumbleball fans in Brisbane, Sydney and Canberra who use the "two state sport" jibe against rugby league fans.

There's no evidence that 26% of the respondents were from Adelaide and Perth.

You've put 2 and 2 together and come up with 5.
