Brisbane Tigers make their bid to be 18th team

nah you just don't get it... NRL is the best product, much better than Awful, but people in Perth will never like RL - can you not understand that?

The ARLC has shown no interest in sustaining long-term expansion subjects in AwFuL markets. You whinge about people advocating for a third Brisbane team -- you claim it is fanciful because you believe the Broncos won't allow it -- yet you keep on promoting an expansion project that has zero chance of beinf accepted by the 17 clubs, NSWRL and QRL. I'd take you more seriously if you followed the arbitrary rules you've cooked up.

Pretty sure Perth has come out 1 or 2 in every player and ceo/chairman poll for last few years, not sure why you feel the clubs wont like it, or that nswlr or qrl would even care lol

The poll you showed me has Perth being just one percentage point ahead of Brisbane 3.

It's not the slam dunk win you think it is.

Coaches see a Perth-based team as a smaller threat to their clubs in the active player market and corporate sector. When they realise it'll tap into the catchments of Queensland, NSW and NZ for juniors they will have second thoughts about it.

No team with heritage and a name that is so tied to the Catholic Church, like Brothers will get a gig in a modern sports competition.

And people have been pulling there dick hard about how cashed up Easts are, and now they suddenly need to link up with the Fish Eaters to survive?

so ahead then? And that was a players poll before Dolphins admission. So even when there was only one Brisbane club players still wanted to see perth first lol Glad we cleared that up lol

The only people who want a Perth-based team are the mentally ill sooks who are traumatised by their work colleagues teasing them about rugby league being a "two state sport".

his logic is that since there is currently no Perth team, nobody within the ARLC or clubs will ever support one

So back to the now named Queensland Firehawks. What's people views on playing 8 games at Suncorp and 4 regionally? Richos regional choices seemed very random indeed.
Toowoomba and Rockhampton would make sense in terms of the Firehawks using both those areas as feeder clubs. The first iteration of the bid had a 5 year deal in place with CQ Capras if they got in. Dolphins have now snuck in but I suppose they could revert back to original agreement.
Where’s this info coming from?? I haven’t noticed anything in muller sources…..

Looks like central coast is a shoe in going off that graph.... since dolphins and png are basically rubber stamped

Aka bring back the bears
...

Listen ive said this many times before, perth don't have the cattle, they will over time, but we need everyone, every club putting in efforts to their own juniors or acedemies, so that when there's enough excess in players in the overall player pool not getting a guaranteed club they could go to, instead of the shipped off to UK rubbish, then we can open WA up for a bid, if you do this now, expansion will cease after that, coz no one will want another team draining that same player pool.
We gotta go where the fish are first, while the current clubs sort their mess out in the development side of things, most are getting thier act together, in a few seasons we'll seethe nsw cup and q cup be in a better place, i actually hope that they would bring back the Toyota 20s back
