Cause you got a full share of the tv deal

hull kr have gone broke loads of times

they were losing up to 800k pounds in super league until recently

crowds at the magic in Newcastle shows what Gateshead could’ve achieved
the tv deal deosnt pay fans to attend lol. Gateshead had a terrible busines plan and went bust after one season.
We went broke once, and came back stronger than ever before.

all clubs are losing money in SL, difference is we have owners willing to keep putting in and abusines model that has us on an upward trajectory.

those crowds were not from Newcastle lol

anyways back to Brisbane3, you never know Richardson may have learnt from his past mistakes?

Not sure of the interview but I have read somewhere that they’re rebranding from Firehawks to something else
I’ve read they aren’t necessarily going with firehawks but not heard them say they def will rebrand a new bid. Just wondering if it was confirmed.

f**k off with this off topic shit, you two spanners
Whilst a tangent it is about the bloke leading the brisbane3 bid and his last failures. Of course Wb can’t discuss anything without bringing hkr into the conversation lol
like the prospect of chalmers leading a nz2 bid you have to question if richards has learnt from the business disaster that was gateshead thunder.

Dumb Cowboys! Souths partner with Townsville Blackhawks

Queensland invasion: Souths land hammer blow on Cowboys

Just a week after taking over one of the Titans’ greatest rugby league nurseries, the Rabbitohs have landed another huge hit on a Queensland club.

How does stuff like this and Manly aligning with Auckland RL even happen?

Can the Roosters just walk in and take over Penrith for example? How does this work? Seems to be hard boundaries in Sydney and a free for all anywhere else

back to brisbane3, did he confirm in the interview they are abandoning the firehawks brand?
He said might, i did read it somewhere, it wasn't mentioned in the interview, infact james graham kept on calling them the QLD firehawks, and richo didn't correct him, and kept referring to easts as his team.. so i don't think they've decided yet, but I'll keep checking on where i saw that they were abandoning the firehawk brand

Any second tier not part of an nrl license can partner with any one they like. Bears, jets, blacktown to name but three in Sydney that are partnered with nrl clubs outside their area.

blackhawks are just trying to secure their future given cowboys cutting them loose to have their own qrl reserve grade team.

You only have to have a 1 hour Auskick lesson a week at school to be included in Auskick numbers says Vicky Kicky house.
You don't even have to belong to a club. That's how skewed Auskick numbers are.
Its all a scam to get us taxpayers money
All sports use ‘partcipation rates’. It’s BS but that’s what they all do. Rugby league includes a range of short programs such as the league stars jnr introductory program in our numbers not just registered club players.

To be honest it isn’t a bad thing - the area gets less overlooked, the new/outside club grows its supporter and junior based. It’s been way too long that areas like nz are left alone to develop by a single team. If we get all clubs working in the pacific how good is that for the juniors pathways, tv and other metrics. Status quo should be challenged. The bigger the game gets the bigger the rest of game will become.

So we should do the same thing and replicate their dodgy numbers. We have the bigger upside. I guess we do t want to trumpet it…
