When NRL players mess up, most of them will have their 'apology' statements scripted for them by their team's PR people. I think these PR people must be about as high quality in their field as the touch judges cause the crap they come up with is laughably bad.

Basically if your a drunk idiot, the best thing is to say I was a drunk idiot, really sorry, won't do it again. Not come up with a life story excuse/caveats and the other crap. Really is poor PR. I see it all the time.

I'm willing to bet a lot of money that Kidwell is lying and BSing through a lot of this stuff as arse-covering.

Someone's certainly lying about what was said and drunk at dinner, who pulled the trigger for the sackings, etc etc. I don't see that Bromwich would heap lies on top of the flaming pile of coke-based suspension he already copped.

Sooner Kidwell is gone, the better. Honestly, I just found myself thinking 'what's Tony Kemp up to' as a better course of action.
