I think in reality, at least this time, Karma has a fair point and is correct in his assessment of the situation. Its too easy to attack him for his highly opinionated personality than to take a look at the actual issue that is at play here.
I think Burro has done a pretty good job, but i think his lack of knowledge on ticketing sales has not helped our situation. In particular with so much of the eastern stand now taken up by season tickets and corporates, the decision to keep the premium pricing over there was downright disasterous.
The heads down lets keep it going the way it is form of leadership isnt going to hold up long term. Its becoming even more apparent that high level change is needed so that the big decisions can be made without fear of the club ending as a result of them. That is really what is at play here, Burro feels under seige, his plan isnt working and he cant be aggresive in meeting its failure because if he fails in turning it around then he is gone, and so might well be the club. In particular if he radically redoes pricing and seat allocations which is what needs to be done long term.
Its not a position i envy being in at all. the highly defensive nature of his PR is what Karma has picked up on, I believe his focus on the defence right now is only going to make things worse for himself.
