lmfao, people realize Giants debut this year right?
There's bit of an AFL inferiority complex developing on this board.
There's bit of an AFL inferiority complex developing on this board.
Don't know if anyone saw it but $BW denied it on Foxsports this morning, he hasn't signed anything or spoken to the Chooks
He's just concentrating on his boxing and Rugby atm, as well as a few other cliches
You're such a queer Dean.
All over your face.
So he resigned from the board, great
that doesnt really effect his influence on the game
the fact is he is a staunch roosters man, which is fine but the point of an IC is independence, i dont know how you blokes can honestly buy that Politis is independent.
His conflict comes from being a very influencial person within the game and being directly tied to the sydney roosters.
I dont like that people with such direct links to clubs are getting involved in the IC and i dont like networks helping certain clubs sign players, it stinks of politis's influence that Nine are getting involved in this.
I bet channel nine wont come to the party to beef up Josh Dugan's annual salary unless its to help a club like the dragons/roosters to steal him from us.
It stinks imo.
That being said, id love to see SBW back simply because it would crate a media storm so f**king large that the GWS would drown in it. As far as SBW and the roosters go, it seems a tight fit, so i dont really have an issue with the move itself, but rather networks being influenced by "independent" people as i suspect has happened here.
The point is that if $BW does come back, AFL stories, in Sydney especially, will end up where they belong, just below the Bowls results for the foreseeable future. It will be actual big news in Sydney sport, not like a staged fight between two AFL dinosaurs picked up by an AFL friendly news organisation or news on how the new AFL team picked up 22 new stick inects that no one north of the Barrsssi line has ever heard of in the pathetically rigged draft.
So you can't provide examples of foul play through Uncle Nick's position? So he resigned from the board, great

:lol:I hear the Furners have influence at the Raiders
So it sounds like you are jealous.
jealous? Absolutely i am.
And why shouldnt i be? Why shouldnt i be angry?
We have no clout, no influence, and thats because we're a small market team and no one really gives a f**k about us. We are all well aware of that.
Your club which does virtually nothing to help develop rl talent, to keep talented kids playing rl is getting a leg up to sign some dirty f**king turncoat merkin like sbw.
Whilst my club will struggle to keep josh dugan, a kid who has been with the club since 14, grew up in tuggernong, a genuine superstar local junior who the club can build around, the raiders are fighting tooth and nail to keep rl strong in the riverina through strong jrl programs and development systems, in the face of invasions from the afl and thier warchest of money and continued pressure from a strong ru pressence.
And we get no helping hands, no legs up to keep a home grown star, there is no one in the nrl trying to get dugan a tv deal, no one trying to find dugan a juicy third party agreement to help seal the deal, but the roosters get handed a merkin like sbw on a platter.
I dont think im out of line being a tad pissed off about it.
The fact is the nrl couldnt give a f**k about the raiders, but ill tell you this much, they'll shit themselves if ever we go under and this region is surrended to the other codes.
If the rumours are true and SBW does arrive at our club along with Maloney in 2013 they'll be the only 2 players in our starting 13 that didn't debut at the club.
Where's Maria Heargraves off to? Is Anasta definitely retiring at 31 or is he also heading to another club? They've also just signed Mortimer, Tagive and others. Who knows who will be in the starting 13 by 2013 but Mortimer probably will be.
