My post was in response to a suggestion that he'd not be allowed to act as a director given the history of the companies he's been associated with.
I'm not offended, I'm neither a lawyer or a CA (though I might have a similar qualification)
But....it is pretty shallow to think that everyone of a particular profession is the same (maybe 99% but not all). Just sayin....
Thankfully most of Spagnolos cronies have limped away from this forum with their tails between their legs.
For f*ck sake idiots like you dont get it. We dont want anyone running our club with even a HINT of corruption. Have a look at the last couple of years and the complete and utter cancer that has infected our front office in the last few years. This kind of shit has taken us from a grand final to two consecutive spoons for f*cks sake!!!!!!!!!!You need to remember, the report covers a wider range of discussion points like why Catterick was sacked and then the relevant info about his case of unfair dismissal and that he successfully won his case against the club and other various things like this.
It wasn't all about Roy.
That's right HJ
Roy is an OAM cause he is recognised for all his charity work
If he has these failed companies as outlined by Kate McClymont, he would not be allowed to sit on any board.
Must be a bad person to get the OAM and give to charity.

This attitude was the kind of moronic thinking that festooned the Fitzgerald years, which is why had the 3P revolution in the first place!!!! Its not about having your favourite person in high positions - its about making the club run at its best to make sure our side is at it's best.
Parramatta has ALWAYS been a club that values integrity, even at the sacrifice of success. We could easily have taken the Murdoch cash and join Traitor League. We didnt. We could have found a way to break the salary cap and win a comp. We didnt. We could have induced players to break contacts (eg when Vaealiki first came over). We didnt (He was sent home to honour his Warrios contract). Thats why we can look at ourselves with pride at who we are, unlike Melbourne, Canterbury, Brisbane et-al. That's why we punted players charged for domestic violence BEFORE their hearing. Thats why we never went into the race for people like Carney, Dugan or Ferguson. That's why we have a no dickhead policy in our playing roster. That's why we have to have one in our boardroom.
To defend f*ckwits like that is pathetic - especially suggesting that he's a wonderful person fit to hold high office in our club because he was only found to be corrupt in 896 pages of a f*cking 900 page report!!!!!

Im sure Ivan Milat once donated money to charity once ffs.
Sphag Bol is a pretty sucessful businessman too. For all his alleged ills, he never started Super League. The one thing I can take from the rational and logical posts in this thread is that giving money to charity is a pretty accurate sign someone is a serial killer.
Also that the head of one of the most successful corporate empires in history somehow compares unfavourably to the two bit mugs who have been running out dysfunctional boards for the last twenty years
lance armstrong donated to charity too didnt he
:lol:A bit harsh on Milat to compare him to Armstrong.
