Maybe you need to do a bit of research on the name in the meaning of greek mythology then mate............

and chill the f**k out anyway, nothing against most of the QLD team, just the sh*t talking cheap shot merchant who got his arse handed to him.

Surely your joking, you don't think its anything against the QLD team by referring to the QLD jersey as the clothes for a "soft c**k"?

Used to? who was the nuffie he beat up last night?
A coal minner or something? Spose its a step up from the taxi drivers he's used to beating up.
Herd he's ducking a rematch with Geale... wonder why?

:lol::lol::lol:

Im a bit of Mundine fan, but I gotta side with R69 here, Mundine problem at the moment is irrelavance, he has to start fighting somebody decent soon or risk fading away into obscurity.

Backing down from a fight without setting foot in the ring....and you think that would somehow preserve your rep???

Bwahaha

He got in and at least had a go...no shame in getting beaten...I think quitting beforehand as you suggest would do far more damage rep wise
I dind't say anything about quitting. I said I wouldn't have put my hand up to fight to start with. Going in to a fight with a half-arsed preparation is not only setting yourself up for a fall, but wasting people's time and money as well.

It's typical of a Mundine fight card though...

Oh, is Geale the new great white hope of the pasty white dopes? I thought it was Green... haven't been following the haters closely enough I guess. Meh, Mundine's beaten them both...
Last night's opponent had 30 odd fights for 2 losses. Go call him a 'nuffie'

I dont know, all i know is there was some dodgey sh*t going on with the Geale fight and the body ordered a rematch, and Mundine wants no part of it... i wonder why that is

As for Green, im far from a boxing fan, but id imagine after his demolision of RJJ, he's got bigger fish and pay days to fry than Mundine. You know cause Green actually goes after big name fighters, he doesnt seem to be content with knocking over blokes that only hardcore Boxing fans have herd of. I would have thought if Mundine was as great as he says he is, he too would have bigger fish to fry than a little know coal minner like Robert Medley... apparently not

I read the reports and pretty much every article states Medley was a "virtual no name", and having seen part of the fight, i can believe it, the guy clearly wasnt in mundine's class... but then again, how often does he fight people who are good enough to test him? Been about 4 in his career hasnt there?

ironically enough the "new great white hope of the pasty white dopes" is a proud Aboriginal man, just like Mundine. main difference being one runs his mouth off and the other doesn't.

he was ordered to a rematch with geale, the reason why he isnt doing it?
simply as he was told it had to be redone prior to Feb 27...
he cant do it after signing contracts to fight medley (in a lower weight division) and then the winner of the contender... so it is simply as he cant fit it in the time frame.

Mundine........f**k me. He's a no one in the States and thats the only joint that matters when it comes to recognition. If he wants to go fight over there he won't get a walk up start to Pavlik and the like.

He's built his record on beating journeymen & club fighters. He's always going to look good doing it because he IS a very talented fighter. He either lacks the balls to chase big fights again (Kessler towelled him up and was his last big fight. Mundine would have been lucky to win 2 rounds) or is smart enough to keep antagonising the public into parting with its cash to see him get beaten against sub standard opposition (Geale excluded).

His time has passed. Anyone with an objective eye on the fights knows that he has never been the real deal, nor a legitmate recognised World Champ by one of the major anctioning bodies. His WBA belts were basically coined by the WBA for sanctioning fees - they recognised any fighter who held their belt and one of the other major bodies at the same time as their "Super Champion" ie - the legitmate champion.

Mundines "World Title" belts pertain to Mickey Mouse version of the title.
