Slater, Folau, Inglis, Lockyer, Thurston, Price, Smith and Civoniceiva are the best players in the game in their respective positions and unfortunately for New South Wales they don't have the players who can compete or alternatively when they find those players they get injured or worse they disgrace themselves.

True but this is an Origin debate, where Price and Civoniceiva are heads and shoulders above the rest of the competition.

Also of course Fui had the better season, Price and Civo only played half the year! However when they're fit and healthy, nobody comes close.

Slater's achieved more at fullback than Hayne and has been a far more consistent player since 2006.

Ennis doesn't have Smith's class or composure.

Vatuvei is the only winger that can compete with Folau on his day.
