You do realise the "membership drives" are usually 2 fat blokes and a lady sitting at a card table trying to sell Bears jerseys?

Hardly inspirinig stuff.

Lol. The membership drives is a group of 10 people who are doing it for free and for the passion. They sell
memberships and merchandise is secondary.

You realize the qld bids membership drives are.... non existent. If Gallop has stressed the importance of memberships for every club and bids then...

Next arguement..

By the way I post in the 2 biggest rugby league forums about the ccbears. Both have over 1200+ replies. Ipswich has alot of feedback here but bugger all in rleague. Where as central qld has alot in rleague but bugger all here. The significance? Only a handful of people are fighting for Ipswich or central Qld. Only a handful of people care enough about these bids. Where as countless people from both sites are pro ccbears. You wanna talk about support? Financial, community and business? Well look no further than what the ccbears have acheived and please don't choke on your food.

The CC Bears are indeed leading the way at the moment, but when bids are submitted WA and both QLD bids will have a lot more political and financial backing than the Bears.

How? We have state and federal labor and liberals behind us. We have equity and sponsorships worth millions. Again, how?

Bloody hell that's a brilliant stadium. Deserves to see regular NRL footy, it's one of the many reasons I hope Bears get in.

And they should. But not at the expense of a 4th QLD team.

So a CC team and a 4th Queensland team?

Oh wake up.

WA Reds are a must, its going to be

WA Reds and CC bears OR
WA Reds and another QLD team.

Currently the Bears are the strongest NRL Bid ever so it'll be them and the reds unlesss something huge happens soon and well they are running out of time.

You have Ipswich fighting with Central Queensland over sponsors lol over all things. Both Organisations are amateur to say the least.

The NRL haven't got pea sized brains, they'll make the decision that the fans want. The fans have already spoken.

I know.. Hence why I said I hope your used to disappointment.

Besides all 16 clubs need to agree for them to come in and by the sounds of it they aren't as enthusiastic about it as you.

They’ll make the decision that benefits the competition the most…

Soccer fans got behind the Canberra, Tasmanian and Illawarra A-League bids but none of them are in the comp. AFL fans got behind a Tasmanian team but they missed out to areas which are actively hostile to AFL.

NRL is big business, don’t kid yourself in thinking that a few thousand fans will sway their minds when there’s potentially tens of millions of dollars riding on the decision.
