National League Two champions Dewsbury produced a stunning late fightback to knock Leigh out of the Carnegie Challenge Cup.
The Rams trailed 34-24 with just seven minutes remaining at the Tetleys Stadium but powered back to win 36-34 and claim a place in the fourth-round draw and the chance to face one of the 12 engage Super League teams, who enter the competition at that stage.
Josh Weedon crossed to bring the Rams back into contention before Kevin Crowther touched down two minutes from time to level the scores.
Former Castleford player Francis Maloney held his nerve to kick the winning conversion from wide out, with Leighs Adam Hughes missing a late penalty to take the game to extra time.
In another all-NL1 tie, Whitehaven saw off Doncaster 24-10 with two tries from ex-Castleford man Richard Fletcher while Carl Sice also touched down on his 100th appearance for the club.
York sprang a shock to overcome much-fancied French league leaders and 2005 semi-finalists Toulouse 54-28 in a bad-tempered match.
Ian Brown was the hero for the Knights, crossing for four tries in a blistering 14-minute spell before leaving the field injured.
Hunslet were given a scare by amateurs Rochdale Mayfield but fought back from 18-0 down to win 40-22 with Eddie Mack scoring two tries.
Castleford fielded a youthful side at The Jungle but still proved too strong for amateur neighbours Castleford Lock Lane, winning 88-10.
Lock Lane did actually take an early lead through Craig Bettinson but one of their former players, Joe Westerman, proved their undoing, scoring 28 points.
Elsewhere, Featherstone crushed Drighlington 52-10 at the Chris Moyles Stadium while Barrow ran out 70-10 winners at West Hull and Widnes ensured their passage with a 78-8 thrashing of Normanton.
France will be represented in the draw by engage Super League side Catalans Dragons and also Pia, who beat Blackpool 42-18.
