Ive posted many times that I would love for the dragons to experiment by putt Lomax on the wing for a decent amount of games. Quite a few posters agreed. I feel his ability to catch, his height and general defence are good attributes for a winger.(so many game changing errors from dropped catches many many many tries scored from wingers missed reading defence, the latter absolutely kills me.

I haven’t seen much fluency in Lomaxs catch and pass game and don’t see him as a explosive defence breaking centre, I feel his errors will be reduced when just focusing on scoring rather than having to combine and set up, of course you are often restricted by the talent of the players inside you.

Hope to see what hhappens
….

I'd rather we fix his game at centre than experiment with him at wing or fullback. He could be the best centre in the game with a bit of work. I love his defence and how he tries to dominate his opposites (not sure about his body slam technique, could use some work), love his enthusiasm, his line speed and positional play, all good, I even like his flick pass when it's on and he has a great step but he needs to have more respect for the ball, play smarter and win a lot more of those battles in the air - he can do it, we know he can. He could work on his line running too. For the coach's part he needs to tell our halves and hooker to get Zac some early ball, often and not just in the opposition half but also coming out of trouble and in broken play, Zac and the Ravalava are weapons, use them properly.

That didn't take long.
That’s what I’m on today anyway!

Helping my daughter learn how to box ( with my imperfect knowledge) a bit later, but she’s got this awful kick thing she wants to do.

I like her fancy feet, but I don’t understand it lol.

Hopefully she won’t knock me out too often.

Im not sure how other fathers connect with their teenage daughters.

She’s a bunnies fan, she’ll be hoping for a win tonight. Result orientated.

I'm not expecting too much from tonight's game. I imagine in will be something like 20min quarters, which I expect our main squad to play 20 - 40 mins max.

Marscke and Glover will sun in for Hunt and Flanno Jr for example.

During the time they are out there, no matter the player, I'm really looking at our defensive structures through all players, not just our anticipated starting 17.

I wonder if we'll see Marschke in the halves for a while with Kyle at hooker ?
A story popped up on my FB yesterday with a Marschke a bolter for round 1 headline but the page re-loaded and the story disappeared before I got to open it.

IMO Kyle needs as much time in the halves as possible. Mulheison or even Marscke can go into hooker. I can imagine Marscke coming on for Hunt though to allow Kyle to play a true 7 role.

My brother was a bunnies fan for 65 years, couldn't take him anywhere :)
The Bunnies are ok, second greatest footy club ever.
They are ok.

But their squad at the moment seems deeply troubled. It’s pretty much the foxes in charge of the hen house.

Latrell and Cody will be selecting their game day teams soon.

They signed Wighton in the back of mateship.

It’s like a black and white monty python flying circus re-run at Redfern these days. JD is the Minister for Silly Walks.

Letting go of Reynolds because they couldn’t find another $100k was the close to the worst retention decision in nrl history. Coming from a paid up Tigers member too lol.

Well In Sydney we’ve got a nasty electrical storm now and it’s moving pretty slow with fork lightning hitting the ground and thunder.

I don’t know if anyone else saw that soccer player get struck by lightning this week. Terrible.

So if it doesn’t clear, maybe cancel the game. Not worth it lads.

Comrades from the players association should be doing something.

$25 general admission, that’s ridiculous, should be half that.

Well it’s another year, another (self proclaimed best ever )preseason another coach, a different five eight, maybe some different attacking structure, maybe you are right, maybe he will be one of the best centres in the game this season. I will be over the moon he is, I will be ecstatic if we see some beautiful backline tries ala south’s when they are on. But I feel conversations like this have come up before, and like before I’ll patiently wait and see.

BUT if it’s not working out ffs try something else , chuck him on t on the wing, with flanno deft kicks could cause huge headaches ( we may lose the shimmy and flick but imo that’s a sometimes move and not effective enough to be a go to

The Sharks, who are one of the favs for, at the very least, making the 8 this year, were just hammered in their pre-season game by the Knights 44-18, with the Sharks last try off an intercept.

So, pre-season form = mean something or not?
