Kenny Edwards, Kevin Proctor, Sam Joe, Joe Tomane - hell Storm might have lost plenty of talent but they have some of the best young talent wanting to come to the club and obviously on the cheap.

I watched Edwards in the maori tournament - he is a bit of a beast - plays with plenty of agression.

I heard Storm signed Hep Cahil from Newtown jets - he played in the NSW Cup final and for the maori.

Wairangi Koopu wont see much FG with all these young guns.

Aiden Tolman is another young Storm player who goes quite well.

THIS is the player who has been described as a combination of Greg Inglis and Israel Folau. In rugby union's Shute Shield this year, he scored 26 tries in just 18 games playing for Gordon. Now flying winger Sisa Waqa has walked away from the 15-man code to sign a two-year contract with the Sydney Roosters worth about $150,000.
Waqa, 21, could become a "sensation'' in the NRL, according to Gordon coach Lachlan Fear. "He has the physical attributes to destroy rugby league,'' Fear said.
"Sisa is a mix of (Kangaroo stars) Greg Inglis and Israel Folau. He has power, footwork and speed. He has the shape of Inglis and the ability to run through people like Folau. He is naturally strong and very disciplined. He is a professional sportsman.''
Rather than be bitter, Fear said he was pleased Waqa had moved on to rugby league. "Sisa will leave a big hole for us - one that will be difficult to fill,'' he said. "He is a superstar in the making. It just depends how long it takes for him to adapt to league.
"But we are happy to be able to help him further his career. We have been the catalyst for him to earn a contract we can't match.''
Waqa has already started training with the Roosters and is hoping to make the club's top 25 squad. "It will be a big challenge for me, changing codes,'' he said.
"The hardest part will be adapting to the environment and the training. League is a bit tough and hard, especially at NRL level. There will be a lot of competition but by working hard in the pre-season, I'm ready to prove I can make it with the Roosters and play first grade.''
Waqa has represented Fijian schoolboys, under-19s, under-21s and Fiji A and has a promising league future, according to Roosters chief executive Steve Noyce. "He is an exciting outside back,'' Noyce said.
"(Roosters recruitment officer) Peter O'Sullivan heard about him through a rugby contact and then looked at a few tapes of Sisa. He was then invited to train with us. He was impressive to the extent where we signed him and he is now part of our club.''

Super coach Craig Bellamy will cast his eye over Wellington's raw league talent next week but one young cub has already been pinched from under his nose.
Bellamy, the New South Wales and Melbourne Storm coach, arguably the premier coach in league, arrives next Thursday to run a three-day camp based at Wainuiomata.
The Storm have already snapped up two Wellington teenagers - Wainuiomata centre Blaise Lomax and North City centre Lazarus Mulu - and Bellamy will run the rule over more hopefuls as well as work with the region's club and development coaches.
Bellamy's visit intensifies an already competitive tussle for talent in the region. Newcastle, Parramatta and the Bulldogs are all regular visitors.
Melbourne have a strong connection to the region, with Storm assistant and Kiwis coach Stephen Kearney having grown up on the Kapiti Coast.
One teenage talent who won't be there is 18-year-old Wainuiomata hooker Ellery Wilson, who signed with the Wests Tigers last week on a two-year deal.
Wilson, who dug into his own pocket to fly to Sydney for trials, is training with the Tigers' under-20s squad after impressing in a trial against a Tongan selection.
Wilson, who played first XV rugby at halfback for St Patrick's Silverstream, is living with two other Wellington prospects at the Tigers, brothers Alan and Jason Schirnack. Alan is in the NRL squad and Jason the under-20s.
Wilson is still trying to get his head around his new life in Sydney.
"We've been doing a lot of conditioning at the moment, I'm still sorting out my bank account, tax file numbers and medical stuff," Wilson said.
"There's a good Kiwi feel to the place. This season I'll try and gain a spot in the under-20s and I'll be studying in 2010, doing nutrition and exercise science at Sydney University."
Wilson's coach at Wainuiomata, former Kiwis prop Johnny Lomax, said he was a bright prospect.
"He's got speed and good width to his passing," Lomax said. "He's got pretty good vision and I dare say they're going to put a bit more icing on the kid.
"He paid his own way over with the club's support and it's a bonus - the kid's gone over there and backed himself, he's not on anything fantastic as a contract yet but I suppose your wealth and your money comes with playing on the paddock."

Cheers mate. Doesn't look like he played any NYC this year, which would explain why I haven't heard of him just yet, and Manly's Ball team wasn't too crash hot from memory. Do you know much about him? Is he decent?

Apparently Manly weren't keen on losing him....

Roosters 'huge' new signing

THIS is the player who has been described as a combination of Greg Inglis and Israel Folau.

In rugby union's Shute Shield this year, he scored 26 tries in just 18 games playing for Gordon. Now flying winger Sisa Waqa has walked away from the 15-man code to sign a two-year contract with the Sydney Roosters worth about $150,000.
