I'd say Young will remain our starting no. 9, but Fien will give us the option of someone with a little more zip off the bench (and without Head's dicky knees).

<H1 id=articleHeadline>Lauaki signs with Hull, finally
AAP Wed, 01 Jul 2009 16:30:34
New Zealand Test forward Epalahame Lauaki has completed his move to English rugby league club Hull FC on a three-year deal after receiving a visa.
Lauaki was released by the New Zealand Warriors more than four months ago but his move to England was reportedly held up because he had to prove he spoke English despite living in New Zealand for 20 years.
"It's been a long, frustrating process but our patience has been rewarded," Hull FC chief executive James Rule told reporters.
Lauaki, 25, is still recovering from an arm injury.
When fit, he will replace Adam Dykes, who was forced to end his contract early because of injury problems.

2 year deal worth 300k for a 19 year old prop to never play first grade... sound like Karlos Filiga again. This kid has potential, but for that money they will expect him to be in the 17 week in week out, which for a young prop is physically demanding. IMO bad move, they need to look for experiance up front which they lack, John Mannah looked alot more promising then Va Ve and has struggled to adapt (and is a big lump) while his brother Tim has had time to adapt and is looking better every week working off the back of guys like Cayless, Fui and now Poore next year.

Sharkies wooden spoon in 2010.

Just confirmed on Fox.

O'Meley released to Hull from 2010.

That will make the chook supporters happy. It should free up a bit. It will be interesting to see if they keep Willy now.
